and a note on this note. they were never intended to drop outside of T3/4 zones... so that they did at all was a bug, and removing them was a bug fix. And it was mostly the loam that was dropping in the wrong spots.

ok, i'm a little slow here but what are the T3/4 zones?

Tier 3 zones are Steam Factory, S.H.I.P., MMM, and Gyrospire Zeka.

Tier 4 zones are Crystallos.

Note Gyrospire Zeka has no appropriate mobs to drop the items, so it is pretty much off the list, though it is a T3 zone.

Farmed T3 (SHIP, Factory, MMM) and T4 (Crystallos) for over 40 hours in the last 7 days and yet to see a single Loam, Fluid, Marrow drop.

No one in guild has seen one.

No one on friends list or in channels has seen one.

Forget to put a decimal in somewhere or is my luck really that bad?

I got an exquisite marrow in Crystallos Saturday, that was the only one that dropped in about 6 hours though.

The steamworks are not gnomes and not humanoids, but constructs.

Crystallos Saturday: two loam, one spinneret
Crystallos Sunday: two loam, one spinneret
S.H.I.P Monday: two spnnerets

They seem commone enough to me.
