As I human smith, I think it would be grossly unfair to add even more wearers to our cultural armor. We have the biggest and most diverse customer base out there.

With the large gaps that already exist in cultural garb, I hope VI doesn't take the easy way out on this.

The "progressive" Quest results are not as good as Old Style cultural for most Vah Shir classes... much less anywhere near BD cultural levels.

        I'm skeptical

To be honest, I don't even see them getting to wear plate. Most amphibious creatures need constantly moist, damp skin and I can see Verant using that as an excuse to not give them plate, saying it doesn't allow their skin to get enough moisture (kinda like how Iksars don't get to wear plate cause it "chaffes their scales"). Another reason is because of the typical armor I've seen Frogloks wear in Guk. Most the stuff they drop is Netted, Wolven, and Mesh, all of which suggest mostly tailoring with the possibility of chain thrown in. I've never seen a Froglok wearing anything resembling plate, the most I've seen them wearing model wise scale mail type patterns.

Personally, I see the Frogloks getting cultural tailoring. I can see them getting armor similar to what erudites, halflings, and wood elves get to make for their followers, mainly because of what the current frogs utilize in Netted, Wolven and Mesh. Hopefully, I'm totally wrong, but I don't put anything past Sony.

I think if they couldn't wear plate, they would've announced that on the Froglok page since that's a fairly important attribute.

Personally, I think the "chafing scales" thing was an excuse and the reason Iksar couldn't wear plate was due to global file size limitations.

Use /feedback or the Developer's corner if you have any suggestions. With less than a month away, I'm sure they'll be willing to consider feedback about Legacy of Ykesha. Sony doesn't always realize the same things we do when it comes to tradeskills.
