I'm not sure how what I had posted was taken as a personal attack, if it was I'm sorry. It really wasn't meant to be a rant, more a complaint against the lack of testing and attitude of "punish the player" that SoE seems to have taken with this expansion. More than likely I think we will see a "retro-nerf" on these items so be prepared to have customers upset if you had sold them these. I know I sold 3-4 of them before reading the MB's about the nerf.

It will be a retro-nerf. All the H2H weaps I made on Test were retro changed to the new stats. None remained the old versions. Probably gonna happen on the 3/10 patch I would guess.Comment

Could you post the stats on the new weapons? I'm wondering if I should spend the material to make my brother one? Also does it have a req level? I know a 12/20 (that's my prediction) weapon would be very powerful for a lvl 30BL.Comment

It's been done before:
Visit quest NPC and give him item X in exchange for item Y.
If this was a simple oops on the database mixing up the pale recipe with the shimmering then it would make sense to allow "for a limited time only" an exchange of existing pale cestus to the proper one to maintain the stats of the weapon owned.
It amounts to a name change.Comment
