LDoN and skill ups

Hiya

I am just wondering if any of you guys have trubbel on getting skill ups on LDoN plate armor, I have made over 100 combines with out skill ups when I do enchanted dwarfen armor I get a skill up on about 30 to 40 combines, but usaly on less.

My skill is right now 201 and I use gearlock, I have tryed to get it from 196 to where it is now, but I have only got skill ups on cultural armor, wich is a pain in the but to make becurse of all the enchantment there is needed there.

So back to using 5 to 8 hourse of camping/enchanting to make 30 combines in cultural armor that sucks.

I did LDoN armor from 189 to 192, where I road the +15% Ethereal Ring train to 212. It seemed like a reasonable skillup rate there (i.e. 1 skillup per 16 attempts or so)

I have had less that admirable skillup rate on the LDoN armor. It is well documented that the RNG bears animosity towards me, however.

450+ combines for all 5 types of LDoN armor and I got 7 skillups. Most of the components; except Goblin Bones; go for 95-150pp on Terris Thule server.

I bet i had an avr of 1 skill up pr 10-15 combines. Ldon stuff was great for me from 196 to 211

Did about 38 combines at 192 skill and got NO skill points whatsoever 4 nights ago...

Did 10 combines, and got 2 skill points to 194 last night...

It's the RNG... it hates us, it loves us, it hates us, it loves us... and despite our utter despise towards it... we keep going back for more.

Did roughly 85 combines, in 2 different sessions. First session i did with 265-ish wis, 0 skill ups, about 25ish combines. 2nd session, 60ish combines, 9 skill ups from 203 to 212 (trivial), with 305 str on that round. Seems the skill up's are streaky. Friend also did about 40-50 combines with 0 skill ups, then did 30 and got 8 skill ups to trivialize them.

Gotta love your dice...or hate them.

I mostly got a better than average skillup rate on LDoN smithing -- went 202 to 210 in about 80 attempts. The bigger problem was getting my hands on enough of the temper ingredients...

I only did 5 combines on LDoN Chain (3 leggs, 2 cloaks) for an alt. got 4 skill ups from 5 combines. STR only at 158. Went from 134 - 138. Weeeeee.

I actually had a great skillup run on LDoN armor; averaged slightly more than 1 skillup per stack. And it's well known that the RNG generally hates me, too.

OTOH, I have never gotten a SINGLE skillup off shadowscream, and have done stacks and stacks of that.

I was 1 skillup for 136 combines this past weekend. (
It took my from 193 to 194. eek!

My last series of LDoN armor attempts netted me great results. My STR was around 220 at the time with a geerlok in hand.

My starting skill was 191 and with 21 attempts I got 3 skill-ups to 194! Average 1 per 7 attempts. I believe the RNG was with me on this series!

Trouble is- can't seem to get many LDoN temper drops. Most groups just want to do Mistmoore Catacombs and I rarely see any Gargoyle Granite drops there (then again - no foragers are in my normal group either).

I'll keep farming temper drop components until I can skill up to 200 anyway. Then I think I'll stop and focus on my Brewing for a while.

I had no problem skilling from 191 to 212 on LDoN armor. Average was 20-25 combines per skillup. Wisdom was 255. I got a few more AA's (wisdom 330) and skilled up 5 times on 100 Shadowscream combines. The RNG is very streaky though. I got a skillup on my first SS combine, none in the next 60 combines, and then another four skillups.
