in case youa re going to CC to farm velium make sure you ALWAYS bring a chisel :P i made the mistake of collecting about 2 stacks of pieces and 8 bags of bricks and blocks only to realize i forgot teh chisel

How you going to break them down then? If you say the forge in the dwarf town then use the darn bank to get your chisel too!

This recipe for the 212-220 range is fantastic! Just spent 3kp for a backpack's worth of tempers, and with a guild willing to farm velium to get my skill up, this should carry me to the Aid Grimel phase.

I want to confirm that having the lore item can still result in skill ups (thus removing the need to hit destroy each time.)

I did two stacks got three skill ups and destroying as I went, last 100 I left the lore item on me and I have gotten ZERO skill ups.

At least it's not Shadowscream.

I got #203 - 210 without destroying the metal bits, so you don't need to destroy it each time. Just click click click click away.

Side note it took roughly 296 enchanted bits combines @ 305 str. Glad I farmed the bits myself, even having alot of money 70+ per piece on xeg is a joke.

As far as I know you can't melt down velium weapons. I tried with just a temper and it didn't work :-( I can try some other ways but never heard it being done.

I've found the drop rate on velium in CC to be pretty good as of late, i usually just camp the pit and couple adjacent tunnels on the bottom level and in about 3 hours of bein semi-afk i can easily get 100 small pieces of velium. Sadly tho, the RNG has not been kind, so the last 200 pieces only got me from 193-195. The dreaded hell levels, oh well, almost at my cap, then i get to return to the greater of the two evils....tailoring! At least hunting hoppers in DSP will net me a lil exp and maybe a shard, lol.

With the number of velium weapon drops in CC, the Velium amount would be great if we could melt them down <Evil Grin> Double the output at least.

I find people selling Velium Bricks/Blocks all the time for 60p or less. Often as low as 30-40p each.

Then I usually buy 'em up, chisel 'em down and put the pieces out for sale at 62p each... they go fast!

Your looking at 50 (VERY VERY low) to 125 per PIECE in the bazaar on Bristlebane. NO, I'm not fibbing on exaggerating.

Well if it takes all day to find the right moment with a bazaar mule I could fund myself quite a few stacks by farming or buying from xp plat intakes ;b

CC was pretty vacant when I farmed there suprisingly. AE wiz can gain velium fast :b

Wow reading all this makes me happy i saved my 2000 some odd small pieces i was going to use for tailoring such decisions now!
