Little confused are you casting the spell on the velium bits, or are you combining the spell with the velium bits in a forge?

2 small peices of velium in forge with cvt and the spell scroll. cant enchant the velium with by casting the spell. can only enchant it like the valorium with vials of mana. cept it uses the scroll instead of a mana vial.

form the other enchanted velium bits post about two threads down atm.

i've been farming my own velium and make my own tempers and it has cost me roughly 20p per attempt. i've got 3 skill ups so far from 206 -209 and only done aobut 30 combines

I was unable to do the combine with my level one 146 skill human smith it said: You are too inexperienced in your craft to even consider attempting this combination. Clearly there is a skill req or level req.

from the other thread with almost the same name takes unmod 165 or 158 with 5% mod to attempt.

yea this is a viable way to skill up....but I just blew a small fortune on LDON tempers and time on shadowscream to get to 223....now it looks like for a marginal amt of time farming velium you can get to 222.

Can't believe this was the intended effect of this quest and while I'm usually not one to look at stuff like this and say /boo - the fact that it just totally trivialized skilling up from 188-222 with almost no sub combines and minimal plat investment....well I'm speechless atm.
