I'm on the rathe and I've made every kind of temper and set prices at 100p per and sold out every one.

I based my price on the fact that at 50p per another seller bought them and repriced them for 200p each on her vendor, but at 100p per she didn't. Also at 100p per I havn't had any sit on my mule more than a couple hours.

The goblin bones are by far the easiest to find. Of the others Ive foraged sand verbeni and also looted it. Pondweed and Ice lichen Ive only gotten off venders. Gargoyal granite I looted 3 or 4 of from one small area in a dungeon with my 36 enchanter, it wasn't spread out in the dungeon.

I'm looking forward to getting my smithing to 200 with the new smithing eventually too

For the first two days after LDoN went live, you could find me porting between the camps collecting goodies. I had over 150 tempers, and I actually started to leave them on vendors because I had so many. I figured for as common as they seem, they will be dirt cheap.

I wish I would have kept buying them now. I am seeing the same things that everyone else is. They are selling for 200-1kpp in the bazaar.

The sad thing is, who knows how many are being destroyed by being sold to full vendors.

A strategy I have used a few times was to wait until another player opened a vendor inventory, then I would start buying up the cheaper items. As soon as I would open a slot on the vendor, the guy selling would fill it back up. Git quite a few that way as well.

          Components and Tempers

I have been buying the components needed to make the tempers at up to 50 plat each, been buying tempers at upto 100 plat each (Hi Ada), and have been selling tempers at 200 plat each. Sales have slowed down and there is a vendor with about 40 tempers in stock selling at 175 plat atm. Will keep you posted.

I tried 20 of these at 25pp, and did one simple auction in the bazaar to attract potential smiths. They were gone within 25 seconds. I tried raising the price to 50, and again they sold out in mere moments.

Setting the price at 100, I feel is fair. For starters, I would have given half my right leg to be able to use something like this for skillups into the 200s at 100 or even 200 or 300!, rather than shadowscream farming suckage. (Hello Erudite smith so no cultural option to speak of). But then, money isn't so much an issue for me, as evident by our using the velium bar combines to do some of our post 200 work.

I've spent a good bit of time raiding vendors and trying to find them, for many attempts I didn't come up with many parts due to the status of current vendor mining.

They'd probably sell for more... but I'm content with 100 unless something changes or I find after days I'm unable to produce more without significant effort.

The best place is Rujarkian. Goblin bones drop all over the place, and are apparently often foraged too.
Pondweed seems a common drop in Guk, we usually get 4-5 every adventure.
Sand Verbena is a little less common - 2-3 drop per adventure.
Granite and Ice Lichen seem to be rarest.

100pp is a very fair price imho considering how "easy" the rest of the ingrediants are to get/buy and you get a pretty reasonable resell only losing a few pp on the ore/mold and 25 on the superb padding. for a grand total of around 150pp per combine....considering with 10k pp I've gotten 10 skill ups from 187-197 in a few days - that's well worth it imho.

You do need the platinum resources tho but it really isn't that hard to get a reasonable amount of raw plat nowadays - especially in LDON with all the rare gems that drop.
