Ink of Zek is sometimes generically associated with recourse effects but inconsistently. I tried it a while back in the recipe as well but never found a combination that worked. Its possible I just missed the right combination or its not even in there.
Roanne LeFaye
Warrior Barbarian of the Tribunal
Outsider Domination
The Seventh Hammer
2100 Club + 300 melee Research
Ok I have been looking on LUCY, which makes me feel like I failed, because I had to look at data to see how spell works, to see some stats here is the link to: Concussive Blast Rk2
so looking at the spells Raw data, The Spell should be as follows:
Spell Research Kit (Pure Caster)
Rough Paper (level 71)
Quill of the Arcanist (Wizard Spell)
Luclin Ink Additive (Magic Resist)
Arcane Thickener (Single Target Direct Damage (Fire) spell)
Ink of Innoruuk (Decrease HATE) (1 to 6 Inks)
I have tryed some fallback Inks/Items also with above:
Ink of Zek (when in dought Zek out)
Ink of Pain (This spell is a Pain)
Ink of Ro (For the fire part)
Chronal Resonance Dust(a new Item in spell research with no clear reason)
All with no luck!
This spell combanation we need to get a big hint.... nudge..nudge..the big Orger in room
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me. I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved!
Chronal Resonance Dust has no practical application in the recipe, it is just there to differentiate between 2 (otherwise) identical recipes.
I believe the chronal resonance dust was added to some recipes recently to differentiate them between similar recipes. There were several spell recipes that when combined were producing the wrong spells. Example: Grave Pact was being produced when people were attempting Dark Possession. Same spell level, same spell effect, except Grave Pact is an upgrade to Dark Possession. The spells ended up with the same recipe. Ngreth went back and added dust to the newer recipes to differentiate.
going to fool around with it, but this pally spell MAKES hate and has a recourse to it:
challenge for honor rk ii
1 x Debilitating Thickener - Crafted, Bought
2 x Ink of Innoruuk - Crafted, Bought
1 x Ink of Pain - Crafted, Bought
1 x Ink of Zek - Crafted, Bought
1 x Luclin's Ink Additive - Bought
1 x Paper - Crafted
1 x Quill of the Lord Protector - Crafted, Bought
Spell: Concussive Blast Rk. II
Rough Paper
Quill of the Arcanist
Luclin's Ink Additive
Debilitating Thickener
Ink of Innoruuk
Ink of Zek
Ink of Zek
Ink of Zek
Ink of Innoruuk
And the why:
The first Inny is for the initial hate reduction
The three zek's are for the 3 proc chances
the last inny covers all of the hate reduction done by the other three.
While that last is not technically accurate, there is not enough room in recipes to do all three like it should, so it got squished to one. Admitedly this does make it troublesome with the systematic system, but sometimes it is not always possible to do it exactly correctly, and just come close.
I do understand that there is only so much room in the research system, and thank you for helping us out... Much appreacheated on this side...

Added the recipe to the DB - anyone who gets the trivial, please post in the update forum.
Thanks!
