  • Straight Forward Spell Recipes DNC atm

    Moonshadow (70 Druid, PoR)

should be straight forward but DNC:

    Quill of Storm Warden
    Fine Runic Vellum
    Ink Additive of the Nameless
    Ink of Tunare
    Mitigating Thickener

I tried all the other healing Thickeners (Soothing, Assuaging, Ameliorating) just in case there was a mixup. But none of them combines.

    Storm Blade (69 Bard, DoN)

If they follow previous rules, then it should be similar to Call of Lightning (70 Ranger, OoW) and Silvery Fury (67 Pally, OoW) where an additional ink is used to reflect the resist of the proc. But the following attempts are DNC:

    Quill of the Maestro
    Runic Vellum
    Ink of Pain
    Ink of Zek
Talisman Thickener (tried Invigorating Thickener as well just to make sure)
Ink Additive of the Nameless (tried Zebuxoruk’s Ink Additive as well)
Ink of Druzzil Ro (with and without) / Ink of Rainbows (with and without)

If they follow newly released SoD rules, then it should follow Lingering Sloth (68 Shaman, DoD) where the resist of the proc is ignored. But this is also DNC:

    Quill of the Maestro
    Runic Vellum
    Ink of Pain
    Ink of Zek
Talisman Thickener (tried Invigorating Thickener as well just to make sure)
Ink Additive of the Nameless (tried Zebuxoruk’s Ink Additive as well)

DoN lvl 69 spells are enabled, correct? For reference, here's the list of DoN lvl 69 spells:

    Bard - Spell: Storm Blade
Beastlord - Spell: Growl of the Panther
Cleric - Spell: Blessed Touch (scribes as Ward of Retribution)
Druid - Spell: Earthen Embrace (scribes as Serpent Vines)
Enchanter - Spell: Rune of Rikkukin
Magician - Spell: Summon: Molten Orb
    Necromancer - Spell: Shadow Orb
    Ranger - Spell: Earthen Shackles
Shaman - Spell: Spirit of the Panther
Wizard - Spell: Claw of Vox

      Burning Aura (68 Mage, DoD)

With recipes for Skin of Reptile (68 Druid, DoD) and Lingering Sloth (68 Shaman, DoD) both comfirmed (see SoD Data Forum), the recipe for Burning Aura (68 Mage, DoD) should work the same way. But the following is DNC:

      Quill of the Arch Convoker
      Fine Vellum
      Ink Additive of the Nameless
      Invigorating Thickener
      Ink of Zek
      Ink of Pain

Just to double check, I reverted to old rules and tried the following. DNC as well.

      Quill of the Arch Convoker
      Fine Vellum
      Ink Additive of the Nameless
      Invigorating Thickener
      Ink of Zek
      Ink of Pain
      Ink of Ro

I believe its using Talisman thickener as if the spell was a group DS.

I slacked much this beta and didnt get to do much if any spell reserch checking done in time

Thanks for the "Talisman" tip .

          Burning Aura is indeed:

          Quill of the Arch Convoker
          Fine Vellum
          Ink Additive of the Nameless
          Talisman Thickener
          Ink of Zek
          Ink of Pain

          And Moonshadow is:

          Quill of the Storm Warden
          Fine Runic Vellum
          Ink Additive of the Nameless
          Talisman Thickener
          Ink of Tunare

A Group Heal is a Group Buff now . I can hear Mitigating Thickener and Assuaging Thickener crying "foul". They are dying to be useful again haha.

Question .... should "incorrect" recipies be posted in the data submission? Or should we wait until they get corrected n game?

I still have quite a list of errors / suggestions from Beta which i have to pass along to Ngreth.

So ... ummmm ... are DoN lvl 69 spells enabled?

I'm still stumped on Storm Blade (69 Bard, DoN) and just want to make sure I'm not pursuing an impossible course.

The DoN 69 tomes weren't on the list Ngreth posted awhile ago, Emoush probably counts as a raid target.

Yeap. Here are some of the irregularities I've encountered so far:

                  1) Idol of Malos using Conjuring Thickener
                  2) Touch of Draygun not using Consuming Thickener
                  3) Skin of Reptile and Ward of Tunare using 1 Ink of Tunare while Touch of Draygun using 2 Inks of Tunare

Does that mean all the following are not enabled? Or just the Tomes?

                    Bard - Spell: Storm Blade
Beastlord - Spell: Growl of the Panther
Berserker - Tome of Destroyer's Volley
Cleric - Spell: Blessed Touch (scribes as Ward of Retribution spell)
Druid - Spell: Earthen Embrace (scribes as Serpent Vines spell)
Enchanter - Spell: Rune of Rikkukin
Magician - Spell: Summon: Molten Orb

Actually that makes sense, technically you are summoning an idol which then casts the aura.

                        Agree with the other 2

                        - Touch of Draygun should be using Consuming Thickener (lifetap)
                        - Skin of Reptile and Ward of Tunare should be using 2 Ink of Tunares, one for the intial HP increase, one for the Heal over time.

Ah one more. But this is purely for the purists to ponder on only.

The "Prism Skin" proc from the proc of Iceflame Guard and Spirit of Oroshar is not accounted for in the recipes at the moment.

Do you think it should be? "The Prism Skin" is technically the 3rd layer of the recipe, with the proc being the 2nd layer and the spell being the 1st layer.

My initial reaction is to say yes, an ink (pain) for the prism skin proc should be included.

The proc Iceflame strike damages the target while cloaking the pet in a protective aura. So IMO its actually one effect ... the fact that its a "3rd layer" is just a programing construct / limitation.
