I presume this is a typo and finishing Poxysmit's precipituos Parts task will give us the hole punch recipe.

Superb leather padding is sold by 1 of the smithing merchants in PoK.

it looks like someone left out an ending message.. BUT when he asks you to turn in the gears, in the task window... it says something about wanting to talk to you about something (more important) (in parentheses instead of brackets) maybe that is the key? Not sure... will ahve to try when I get some time to log in again.

When I first finished this quest, I didnt notice any new text. Not at first at least. I scrolled up and saw some yellow text that had the words [more important] in brackets. Thats the key phrase to get the rest of the tasks. The hard part after that is actually the names of the tasks he talks about

Oops, forgot to add that the pinions and gears for this task are far more common off the other clockworks in the area. I was bored waiting for the creep reapers to spawn so I killed a few of the a clockwork scuttler, a mech-o-rat scraper, and a mechanized crawler. They do drop negative faction with expedition 328, but I started at amiable and left at amiable so its not too large of a faction hit. It took me about 15 minutes to collect all the pinions once I began killing the other clockworks. Hope that helps a few people out!

Bellfast says 'Ambleshift was the one who put it all together. While the other three try to claim credit, if it was not for Ambleshift, none of it would actually have come together. His book describes the final assembly of the device, and some parts of it that he himself made. If you could get me some items, I would be willing to give you a copy of the album.'

Bellfast says 'Scrindite was the [methodical thinker] of the group. He was a genius at making mechanoinstructions that we cannot even understand to this day. We often have some mechanotablets of his making inside of us, making us work, and we just hope that they never fail because we no longer know how to make them.'

Bellfast says 'His manual explains how to make the parts of the device that read the instructions for the machine. If you could get me some items, I would be willing to give you a copy of his scribbles.'

Bellfast says 'Poxysmit was the blacksmith of the group. His manual explains how to make the casing for the device itself, and the gearboxes that go inside. If you could get me some items, I would be willing to give you a copy of the parts book.'

Bellfast says 'Epicthieck was the Jack of all trades of the group. He made all the parts that used other skills, and even the Lubricating Goo that the machine needs to use in order to not damage the stone while it makes the seal. His manual explains the miscellaneous other parts that are needed to make the machine. If you could get me some items, I would be willing to give you a copy of his edition.'

Looks simple - pain - YES! - these are just the start of each of the quests - there is more to be revealed with some it looks like it will simply be return to belifast and hand x item in" but some have more spaces for a few more reveals of things to collect.

If you are working these already found that each item you have to loot needs to be returned to him so don't accidentally sell them unless you want to vendor mine them back when ready to do turn ins.

Are these things dropping in instanced or non-instanced zones?

both, im curently working on the shadowmane one and i find that in the Western cornner of stoneroot falls is the only place to find shadowmanes.

ragepaws are in the north western conerner of undershore

spiders are in the hive, southern area of stoneroot, random places of ruins of illtaien.

each of these 3 require you to loot the 25 items, then turn them in the go back and loot 25 more items of a different name then turn them in.

so far only able to do poxysmit's which looks like thus

I was able to confirm that you cannot get the further text from Bellfast by saying "more important" if you have not yet completed the mechanoinstruction scraps task. For me, anyway - wood elf ranger.

Still working on the shadowmane/ragepaw ones.

any idea what level you have to be to start all this? At level 62, I can talk to Belfast..he tells me to go visit the merchant, and ask him about the pinion gears...When I go do that...nothing...nada...zip...

I have all 10 different scraps...multiples of most....gave away lots of them to people needing certain ones, yet I can't do the quest...
