New spell research with DODH

nodrop crafted stuff is TERRIBLE for crafters =/ attuneable? sure! but not nodrop, PLEASE no more nodrop stuff!

nodrop stuff just encourages uber folk who have no real interest in tradeskills, to power their way through and take components and future sales away from folks who actually LIKE crafting. even though i love being able to pass on my old gear when i upgrade, i'd rather have everything attuneable (a la eq2) than have any more nodrop crafted stuff added to the game.

I fail to see why the fact that i raid high end content, should close of this part of the game for me.
It would be nice if tradeskills was actually usefull for me instead of just being completly useless.
Also i fail to see how this would reduce your joy in punching a button 3 million times.

I don't think they were saying you shouldn't be able to. I think what they are saying is that making the results NO DROP forces YOU to craft it yourself. If you weren't interested in tradeskills yourself, then you have just skilled up for an item that you COULD have bought from them instead. Now, whenever you need something that isn't NO DROP, you'll probably just make it yourself instead of buy it from them.

If you are uber *AND* interested in tradeskills, then the statement didn't apply to you in the first place. It applies to those (and there are a LOT of them) who skilled up only for an item (or two) and have no interest in doing the tradeskills, otherwise.
