    Humm, Ok.

Really I just think that there are far more important things to worry about.

We could reduce this to a fan-boy / SoE-Hater argument but I can't see a lot of point in that. I totally understand your frustration in the fact that you may loose a few kpp and some training points and it would be a real shame if SoE can't sort it out so that you don't.

I still find it very hard to believe that anyone spending xkpp and ~50 training points on this did not have some idea of the exact sort of mess that they were getting involved with. I know I did which is why I only raised it to 201 to confirm that it could be done.

Btw, I did not call you a liar or a cheat, I mearly questioned your motivations.
I don't think I am a fan-boy, but then again I do want whats best for the game as a whole, so I guess you can read that any way you want.

Appologies if you think that I was rude, but note that I included myself in every statment that I made.

    Sorry again.

    Jarak.

SOE does many things without putting them in patch messages or in game lore. I know it crossed my mind that it might be a bug, but it also made sense that they might be raising it for OoW with the level cap raise (especially the alchemy change). I'm sure there were many people who thought that the change had been made because research was going to see some new higher level recipes.

As for why people would take it to 250? Some people just enjoy having their skills maxed. I personally spent several hours raising my hand to hand skill to the cap not because I'm ever going to use it, but because I could. It gives me a sense of completeness to the game when I'm done with certain skills and stuff.

If it was so blindingly obvious to you (and everyone else) perhaps you should have posted your stunningly insightful comments in this thread rather earlier than you did

If this had have been a 'research improvement' rather than a bug you'd no doubt have forseen that one as well.

SOE has confirmed this is a bug. I'm sad, I did hope that the change was deliberate, but oh well, c'est la vie.

As for the insults and attacks (however 'mild' you might think them to be), they have gone far enough.
