I have the worst luck with saps though. I still have never personally seen one drop despite having killed ~200 of them over the course of about 25 hours spent hunting them.

2/3 at 250+GM trophy (yeah, I've done this quest twice).

In hunting the spiders up front, I found a sap about 1 in 30 spider kills. And the spiders can very rarely drop 2 saps.

I'm just about done with my Pottery signet, and hearing the horror stories about Tailoring makes me want to cry.



Tailoring is evil! And apparently, so is this signet... /sigh. Time to farm... I guess I'll try to get Tailoring to 230+ before I try the combine.

Actually more like 1/4 if you don't count 3 failed curing agent attempts with 250 brewing

I am now 0/15 on tailoring. Takes me around 30 hours of farming for another attempt. They have GOT to increase the drop rate of the saps, it is completely absurd.

On my 17th fail on first earring. Waiting for more saps to have enuf for 3 attempts.

Sap farming is the worst, SOE has GOT to make them drop more often. Spending literally 30 hours in Fire to get 3 saps is just plain horrid.
