(couple of hours for a sap in the first field, next night the second spider dropped a sap also from the first field and bought the last sap for 10k - succeeded with making the temper)

Got irritated by the quest, bought some saps for outrageous price in bazaar and got lucky: 1/4 at 221 + geerlok.

Now all I have to do is convince a bunch of people that really Air is a fun place to xp in.

I went 1/1 on my first earring, and am currently 0 for 4 on the second with 240 + trophy.

I am hoping to pick up a decent time earring so I will stop being tempted to make this second earring any more.

Failed once on the trivial brewing combine too

I was 1/3 in making the undergarment. 250 raw skill, the 2 failures I had my trophy equipped, on the success, I didn't, go figure. The success was on Oct 17.

Had an unbelievable skilll up run tonight in tailoring. 10 skill ups in 60 combines, to a skill of 235. Decided to try the robe since luck was on my side and was finally successful. That was my 5th attempt.

I was jazzed up at that point and started scrounging for baking components and gathering up my fletching stuff. Made the bow on the second attempt and finished my night off with completing the quest and handing in the hope stone.

1/ 13 trys i guess 250 raw skill plus 5 % mod don;t mean jack any more



oh well as long as my 2nd earring doesn;t go 1/12.


so i guess for 2nd earring i am at 0/1 on this part so dumb i shoudl just get teh tier 1 earring in PoT and call it good

Been having abysmal luck... Seeming like I'd 40 combines before a single skill up. But, even more farming is needed. Someday I will make that stupid undergarment.

0 for 11 now...for the first time in this game I have become truly frustrated.

0/1 at 222 skill with 15% mod


I also failed on the brewing part for one of them with my brewing skill at 252 mod...so frustrating

It's been so frustrating for me because I'm a cleric and I can't solo the stuff in fire. Thank god for my shaman friend for letting me use his account when he's not on. Hopefully I can succeed soon, this whole spider hunting business is getting on my nerves.

All of my combines with all skills were made at 250 skill with geerlok except for the cams which i made at 242 tinkering.

1 for 2 on the first robe, although the failure was on the very trivial brewing subcombine.

1 for 3 on the second robe.

The only other failures i had on both ears were a couple of subcombine fails for the party platter and one failure on the jc combine despite having jcm3.

After going 0 for 4 on my second earring, I am now 1 for 1 on looting an Earring of Corporeal Essence. I must say that this tailoring step was more unpleasant than any other quest experience I have had.
