so far i hear better success using the tanaan loom in pok

0/3 for second tunic ( for second earring )

I use the loom for all my combines

getting frustrated getting saps from field one

Thinking of soloing in Field 2, anyone tried that? as a druid?

If only they made saps more common, it would make the tailoring frustration more bearable

Welp, failed my first combine this past weekend and I must say this part of the quest is the suck.

- Failed 1 emblem combine with 250 JC
- Failed 1 enchanted molten bar combine with 236 smithing
- Failed 1 robe combine with 223 tailoring, +5 geerlok, 355 int

Seeing as how many people have failed with 250 skill, I may just pray to the gods of the RNG and not try to work tailoring any higher.

Due to frustration from how long it takes to farm sap I have decided to skill up to 240 before making any more attempts. At least then, if I fail, I can blame the RNG 100% and not my lack of skill Just... need... 4... more... points... /scream

I solo'd two spiders in Fire and got my first Sap; I did the next four spiders with a group and got my second Sap; a guildmate gave me my third Sap. At that point, I was thinking, it's meant to be!

After spending several months working up my Tailoring, I decided to try the combine at 236 +5% . . .

I failed.

I was fortunate enough to get a few good drops and made some money selling them in the Bazaar, so, I was desperate enough to drop 60k on three more Sap. At that point I was at 239 +5%, so I sat down to try again . . .

I failed.

I didn't really need that Fungus Covered Scaled Tunic, did I? Another 60k, and another three Sap, but this time I was 240 +5%, and I could not possible fail, not after fate had been so cruel . . .

I failed.

I'm really upset at this point. After spending 18 AA on NTCM6, countless hours, days and months getting all of my skills to 240-250, not to mention farming components, I still cannot complete this ****ed quest.

I can never seem to put a Fire group together, as the folks I know only want to get a Warrior, or three, equipped with an Earthshaker, and do AoE, being a Shadow Knight, leaving me in the cold.

Well, it's back to aggro kiting one spider every 20 minutes. :|

same, 3 days, 150+ spiders, no saps.

and now they drop diamonds when i never saw them drop those before...

can anyone post that a sap has dropped since thanksgiving?

Yes, I got one sap on Saturday night from the ZI spiders
