Hoping this is in the right forum, please correct me if not.
Doing the tasks toward making Grandmaster armor, I'm killing lots of random mobs. First in Crushbone, then in the Hole. These are not really too bad, and although there are streaky drops from time to time (e.g. killing about 20 elemental monstrosities more than the 5 required to get mercury), it goes just fine.
However, the next step is in Skyfire. I need to kill 80 old wurms and loot 40 items from them. The problem is .... it took me 45 minutes of running all over skyfire to find even a single old wurm. I pretty much covered the zone, and didn't find another one there.
Anyone else running into the same difficulty? Maybe there's a trick to this -- are they hiding in some corner of the zone that my nontracking self can't find? Should I be killing everything else to spawn them? At this rate, this part of the quest will take so much longer than the rest that I just feel like I'm either missing something, or the quest is set up much harder for gnomes.

p.s. just as a side note: I notice that, as an example, the dwarf quest requires Though Horrors in the Deep for this stage, which are a very common mob.
