Solo sacred water?

do any of the mobs that drop the sacred water not summon? i can pull any of them single, but can't kill them by myself if they summon.

There is a way for druids to solo for sacred water. Its not obvious but there is a way.

It is possible for enchanters to charm a razor fiend and solo the 2 pop area. Charm->haste pet->slot mob._pray pet kills mob before charm breaks. Wash Rinse Repeat get rezzes as necessary

I did solo this part with my 65 chanter. I was using the larve that stand near the ZO as a pet. I sugest geting a friend to help you snare pet and nuke mob or heal pet.

some are not slowable, so U need to have some 1 CH your pet if you attack these.

I was standing facing the ZO stone and just beside it during the fight, should the charm broke, you can zone out fast.

i thought about using one of the frogs from the river as a pet, but even when i'm able to get glamour in, they never stay charmed long. also, they cannot be snared or rooted.

i can easily solo giants in storms, but these guys seems much tougher to take down solo...anyone else have any suggestions for a druid?

I 2-boxed 3 of my waters within a 3-4 hour period. My main a 65 bst and my alt a 65 cleric.

I stayed at the gy building and was able to paci on the intial pull then it was just being bored on spawns. Once the non-slowable mob there spawned I made my way into the the castle.

The castle was a pita to break and a guild necro came to help me there. I accidently deleted water and went to the gy to camp them again. A water dropped on the first one.

Has anyone got any sacred water since the last patch (03/16)?
Been farming those for over 3hours without getting any. Might be bad luck, might be there's a problem with the drop rate.

are razorfiends classified as animals? if not, that doesnt' do a whole lot for a druid. it's looking more and more like i'm going to have to bring a group

My suggestion for those who are looking for the water follows:
Get a solid group together, which must include an enchanter that can mezz level 68 and below mobs.
Go on the bridge and kill the two white guards at both ends of the bridge.

Using this stragety, I got 2 waters in about 3 cycles. We also hit the building to the right of zonein and got one there, while waiting for respawns. These are not the 'named' mobs, just the white guards. Hope this helps. :>

best way to get sacred water imo is get a slower / tank / cleric and pick up all the poor LFG ppl in the zone (your not here for xp so more dps is always welcome).


pick any none pet class to pull all the megaman avaible near zone out ( 2 in the building next to zone out and plenty at the camp not far from there).


target the megaman of your choice - cast a none damaging spell - train to zone out and zone out when you see your little train near zone out (btw makew your camp near zone out), one member of your group hail one megaman , wait for the rest to leave and for puller to zone back in and kill it. Easy fast and decent xp for all your new friend that was LFG in PoV.

ALL megaman summon im 100% sure about it so keep that in mind. For all of you who want to solo them i really suggest you make a pick up group with the lfg ppl in zone so you kill much faster and you wont be stuck farming this for 4+ hrs.

I have farm 9 sacred water (6 for myself and 3 for a friend). Took a total of 4hrs for 9 drop.

anyway at all time fight near zone out , its safe and those megaman are none kos so you cant train or kill innoncent ppl.

Me and renjah can speak from experience here. I suggest if you can charm use Cod on Razor fiend or a geo model from WW (western waste) or the wasteland and haste them up ..cripple and slow the mob and hope it doesn't break. Also try to keep the soldier perma rooted to keep you from being summoned. Highly recommend a tank. Have someone like a hybrid insane taunt the mob and let the charmed pet rip the mob a new ..... "hole" healer also helps. I'd suggest pally/sk and charmer.

Me and renjah did it with 2boxed cleric and him tanking. So but somtimes he dropped before ch landed. I almost recommend sending in pet til the mob is debuffed(mob is rooted-> send pet in ...debuff ...send in tank).

The 2 guards in the building next to the zone in/out are ideal targets for a soloing druid. The frogs rarely break charm during a fight(14 kills so far, charm has broke once I think). Some frogs are immune to snare and root, but you are guaranteed a snareable one if you choose the little guy sitting on the rock near the river far to the right of the zone in. Splitting the 2 guards is a bit tricky and will require some egressing/zoning to get them seperated. Once they are though you're home free if you keep up with the spawns which are ~20 minutes. Pull them near the zone out, root and let the frog do the work. The frogs aren't quite as tough as guards, especially the yellow ones so you will have to practically chain cast Karana's Renewal on them. If you get a broken charm, zone out.

Tedious, dangerous, but doable by a druid for those times you can't find the help to do them. Experience isn't too bad either.
