I solo 2 of my waters. They all drop from yellow guard.

I got a pally to help me to kill a yellow guard. he got 9k5 hp i think. Basically his HP drop not as fast as the frog but also his dps is lower. Overall I think bring a tank is safer. Even if you chain KR frog pet its hp will still keep dropping (so if you start chain KR too late, you lose) until the megaman begin to flee. I don't have KEI but the respawn is soooo slow that i regain more mana than needed by the time it respawn.

Splitting is easy, since usually you can lull the white guard and pull the yellow guard. Just becareful of the pathing which is deadly after the patch.

They're immune to Harmony of Nature. Pretty sure the level 65 ones are too.

Also it depends on which type spawns whether you need to chain Karana's Renewal.

Level 65 valorian guard: Frog held his own, got in some nukes to speed it up, the frog's health didn't drop much at all.

Level 66 valorian guard: Started chain casting when the frog was at 80%, and managed to keep the frog's health around 60%.

Level 66 valorian guardsman: The devil. Start chain casting immediately and your frog should have 20-40% health left. You don't even want to switch targets very often to check the guardsman's health because you have to keep up with its dps.

Got the last 2 waters I needed in ~20 kills and both from level 66 valorian guards. No deaths.

        Hello there

This really only apply to chanters but some of the tactics might be adjusted to use frogs and other animals. A huge part of the tactics involves zoneing a lot

Here is a rather long write-up of how I soloed my 6 waters (did gimly 2 times):

        1) First buff up with whatever buffs you can beg / bribe / trade your way to.

        2) The big white building near PoV GY is the first place to go to. There are the metal men type mobs at the entrance you would want to kill. Check out the /con for each of them if they are yellow cons both you will have to adjust your tactics (more on that later)

        3) Run along the white building till you come to the tents. Along the fence around the camp you will find a static spawn (normal human model), target him and run to your max distance for tash.

        4) Cast tash and pull the mob to near the PoV Zone Out. Then cast Greater Fetter and root him. Try to time it so you root him as close to the ZO as possible. (The mobs you are fighting are non-agro to everybody so they won’t attack innocent bystanders)

        5) Charm the mob. And use your best haste on him.

6a) Run to the entrance of the white building and if you got 2 white con metal men or 1 white and 1 yellow all is well. Pacify the white con metal man and pull the other with tash. Run the soon to be dead metal man to the charmed mob at the ZO and let them fight it out. Use greater fetter on the mob at all times so he won’t walk away from ZO.

6b) If you got 2 yellow con mobs in the white building you have to pull them both. Just target one and go to max cast distance for tash towards the ZO. Then you cast tash and as soon as the mob you want to kill is a good distance away from the entrance to the white building cast greater fetter your target mob. Now run and zone and hurry back. Run and recharm your human pet that should still be rooted near the ZO. Use your lowest nuke or a green ceramic band to break root on the rooted metal man and let the charmed mob and metal man fight it out. Now you got the white building split.

        7) If the charmed human breaks out from charm just keep your cool. Remember you are fighting right next to the ZO so just reorient yourself after the summoning and click the ZO. This will happen more often then not but it is better then dieing

        8) After killing the 1 mob in the white building Zone out of PoV and hurry back. The human pet should still be at ZO else go get him back. This is to get fresh health on your pet, so you just proceed and kill the 2nd mob in the white building using step 6

        10) Zone out to clear agro

        11) Now it gets a bit more hairy. The white building is empty and there is 30 min respawn instead of waiting around you can kill all the metal men in the tent camp.

        12) Head to the tent camp and go inside. Be careful about the captured razor fiend don’t go to near him. Find a metal man mob and target him. Run away to max cast distance for tash towards the ZO.

        13) Cast tash and run all you can to the ZO a small swarm of hard hitting mobs is coming your way now. Keep your cool and wait at the ZO for the metal man to come inside range for greater fetter and then root him near the ZO. Then you Zone out and hurry back.

        14) Run back to the tent camp and charm your human pet again. (He should still be hasted and tashed.) Back to the Zone out and fight the metal man rooted there.

        15) Repeat step 12-14 for the rest of the metal man mobs in the tent camp

There you have it, a step for step solution for camping sacred water. It might not be the best solution but it is a solution.

Just be prepared to die a few times until you get the routine down. After a bit of routine you can keep all the metal men in the area down and still have time to kill a few mobs for xp.

Druids can use frogs to solo the valorian guards and even Sgt Popoah. For 4 days in a row I've been getting up at 4:30 AM to do this. Stay close to the zone out and when charm breaks you should be ok. Its been great experience, but I was starting to believe that sacred waters no longer dropped. Then this morning, I had company, killing the same things, and got all three within three hours. Two dropped in a row.

I was so happy! Then I tried to go up to speak with Aid Grimel, and the elevator wouldn't take me up, just like I get left behind when the boats sail. I was going to have a tantrum, when I decided to try one more time with Lev on, and with Lev the elevator carried me up to the top where I turned in my Filled Urn.

I'm soooooooooooo glad this step is over.
