Got 3 more last night for total of 5. Will get my tailoring(120) up a little more before I try the final combine again. Failed last time I did it.

Just a little update

Luck has changed.

I got my first whisker on the 6th from some random person just killing a wolf. Last night, I went to GD, and even brought a ranger friend to track down the one I wouldn't find visually.

A week ago I just happened to go to CS for a rezz. I strolled down to the sirens below Skyshrine. First siren, one siren hair. I got a little triggerhappy and charged the next one with a little too little mana, and had to zone in to Skyshrine. Slightly mad, I decided to try another day.

I did tonight. First siren pulled. One siren hair. You hate me now, don't you? Wait, there's more.

165 tailoring, geerlok in hand and heart racing. Successful combine on first attempt. Yay.

Completed the last few combines I had to do with the 7th (had most done already since I gathered all the components long ago). Final combine, success.

Indeed a good night. Telling a good bard friend of mine (who is always up for strange adventures - and incidently the one who farmed the velium hound furs for me - right before we duoed Tantor ) I just need the gems for the 8th, since I already have all armors done (but not etched) so we ran off to take a look at WW and realized we would be owned by assisting dragons if we were to attack the wyverns. Geonids in WL became the target instead. Just one shimmering geonid up. Killed some very few feet from Phenocryst. Gave me an unrefined diamond which I quickly etched the BP with.

Me got a new shiny BP, decent enough to wear. Now with a red helmet (Tae Ew), Skyshrine arms (Darkish green) and deep blue BP (Imbued Royal Velium Field Plate) I look a little bit of a clown.

Tonight, I will not let that get to me =)

Went on a wolf rampage and managed to get three in a 3 hours period..

Sheesh..

At least I have enough whiskers and manes for 3 attempts now..

Just gotta figure out how to get the siren hairs.

I got 4 whiskers in 30 min with a 59 Druid helping me. ( He didnt get any but his killing probably helped make the respawns much faster.

The only thing that i need now is 1 Siren Hair (Died 2 times getting 1)

Took me about to get 2 whiskers killing in area around the book and spires.

Success! on first try at 158 + geerlok.
