There is a Regura Sentry (rangers that have tracked him say they don't see anything else near him with the same or similar name) that is a red con just a tad past the deepest we have gone in Water with a group. Pathing is really really bad in Water and making it tough to get a people to go that deep in. Hopefully I can get some word as to what, if anything the Sentry drops within the next few days.

Whoot whoot! Now we just need the 250 Tailors to get going and make it all! But "a firestrand curing agent" what is that? I dont remember reading where that is from, PC made I take it. The only other thing is knowing EQ's history get a Robe pattern as well as the Tunic pattern when doing the combine, they like to mess that up a lot. Congratz on the flags too Demorgoth.

And actually, that sounds easy--relatively.

After all, it requires the same effort it would take to gather up the supplies for the firestrand robe...except that you need a Purified Mana Vial and the Signet. You already HAVE the signet, and it's not hard to find Purified Mana vial for sale, or to pay an enchanter to enchant one up.

So if you're already making the stuff, it's easy.

And if you aren't, of course it is a PITA, but at least the Plane of Fire isn't going to be *as* crowded as, say, Plane of Valor.

I was surprised too. Looks like 'common' tradeskilling junk silks and saps and no actual rare piece. The most interesting part to me was the fact that the signet is used in the initial combine. Now, that either means you could have to start from square 1, or that the combine is nofail. I'm really hoping for the latter, LOL

So far, the only piece that seems at all rare is the sacred water for the pottery step.

Personally, I don't have a problem with it. Getting 220+ in 7 tradeskills, and elemental plane+ flagged is effort enough without having to scrounge for obscenely rare drops.

You could also just get the signet back on a fail, like you do the chain in solstice robe failed attempts and the emblems for PoP failed attempts.

I´m not very familiar with Rivervale, but the solution to the riddle could be found there.

If there is a cleric guild or something close to that in Rivervale, i would try to throw some keyphrases like "what Bristlebane´s Party Platter" at the NPC´s there, seems to me like the recipe source in part 2 for the bar of pure velium

Actually the Nice female halfling cleric sounds like a reference to either Denmother, or the halfling for the druid epic that runs around Misty (Ella something)

I checked Ms. Foodcrafter, the RV cleric guild, and a number of other hobbits before the last patch without any luck. It's possible I missed the right one, but Plane of Water sounds likely to me, as well.

Tried the combine for the 5th part tonight but unfortunately failed (with 250 skill). Recipe is as he says, 3 firestrand swatches, 1 firestrand curing agent, 1 tunic pattern (not robe), 1 vial of purified mana and the old signet. Signet returned on failure.

As for the baking part goes we have been messing around in plane of water also. In here are mobs called regrua which are big crabs. These drops the claws used in the baking recipe, and also a non stackable Regrua meat which seems like it would be for the baking part. Will look into that once I get 3 more obsidianwood saps and finish part 5.

Well im sort of stuck and since its the place to discuss the GMquest imma ask here.... I CANNOT MAKE THE ACID WASH!!!

I know it seems silly but i did the recipie:

1 acid jar
3 Celestial essences

in a brew barrel.

And its not happening. Did they change the recipie or am i just totally bugged here. TY)

Did you do it in the Plane of Knowledge or somewhere else?

All the combines are assuming you're doing them in either a container with the word "Planar" in it (like the Planar Fletching Kit) or a container in the Plane of Knowledge.
