Rallos was first killed just two days ago, and we've had the jewelcraft recipe for some time now. That can't be the right flag.

Hendel claims that he is "RZ" flagged the same day the recipe was posted on 11/25.

Or am I misinterpreting RZ as Rallos Zek when it should be something else?

I would assume that means he had access to RZ (the Tallon and Vallon flags), not that he had killed him.

oh sorry I'm Hendel I probably meant Vallon and Tallon Zek not RZ(too many Zeks gets confusing sorry), Hendel is my global Ezboard account, Gorgin my in-game name on Tunare. I'm a 250 JCer so it was lack of a flag not skill that caused me not to get the JC recipy last night.

A question / thought on this...

Is it possible to run through this more than once? I ask for all those out there who are drooling already over that ring, and who have run an Iksar monk w/o twinking and gone through the trouble of picking up an extra (one level lower) shackle.

Aid Grimel told me I did not have enough experience with the planes when I tried this after doing TZ and VZ, but I haven't checked for a long time, and I will check again.

I have everything needed to enter the Tower of Solusek Ro EXCEPT Saryrn. So I have not got the Saryrn flag, and I have not, as a result, had Maelin decipher the Zek info to let me into Sol Ro Tower.

I don't see any reason you cannot run through this more than once. I grabbed an extra BP from Grimmel to clean up/temper/imbue and from there it's just some simple brewing and about 2K in JC to get the ring again assuming no fails.

It's no drop, so not a bad (somewhat backwards) interim reward for redoing the steps.

I have Vallon, Tallon, Marr, Agnarr, Terris flags among the gods, I can get the Brewing portion of the quest but can NOT recieve the Jewelcraft portion OR the Smithing portion. The assumption atm is that you need Bertox for smithing which is almost 100% correct, the JC portion would have to be Saryryn if anyone outside of AL is getting the JC portion since ONLY AL has killed Rallos.

Had a guild potter try I am ready to use some clay, he's a 250 potter and could not recieve the quest due to insufficient flags, he has all the flags I have(Marr, Agnarr, TT, Lower CoD, Tallon, Vallon Zek)

It is Saryrn for Jewelcrafting.

I can verify the following:

I had Terris, Bertoxx, MM, TZ, VZ, and could NOT get the jewelling part. I got Saryrn, and then I COULD do the jewelling part. The key for Jewelling is Saryrn. And I checked that BEFORE I went to Maelin to decipher the info.

I can also verify that Terris, Bertoxx, Saryrn, MM, TZ, and VZ, _WITHOUT_ talking to Maelin and getting flagged to fight Rallos Zek ("I have information." is not enough to do the Pottery part.

But as soon as you get flagged by Maelin to be allowed to go after Rallos Zek, you CAN do the Pottery portion (which means I didn't get any more kills--I just talked to Maelin). So up to this point, Agnarr is not involved, and neither is anything past Rallos or in Sol Ro.

Aid Grimel says 'On our last tome gathering expedition a stray arrow in the Plane of War struck our urn filled with sacred water. It was quite a waste of sacred water! Three large enchanted blocks of clay, three lacquered opals, a vial of purified mana, a ceramic lining, sculpting tools and the urn pattern should make an unfired urn. The urn is so large you will need to fire it with three divine crystalline glazes. Once you have the urn it needs to be filled with three sacred waters and the signet as a cap.'

It is very very late for me right now, and I haven't finished the jewelling part yet. I will try my best to do this tomorrow as soon as I am home.

EDIT: A guildmate told me sacred water drops from "The knights in the tents in Valor." I will try to verify for you, unless someone else can please.
