If it were on Quellious I'd have already bought it just to confirm.

Murkglider Bile Sack didn't work either, with or without the brain or water.

Water + Clump of Refined Ancient Taelosian Clay + following combos in Klin:

Feran Brainstem + Pristine Feran Hide
          Feran Brainstem + Feran Hide

Murkglider Brain + Pristine Murkglider Skin
          Murkglider Brain + Murkglider Skin

          All DNC

I am attempting it the other way now, using Feran Brainstem and Murkglider Brain as the 3rd item (instead of Feran Blood and Murkglider Blood) and trying to find the 4th item.

Magnetic filings are currently only known to be produced from the Gashed Magnetic Breastplate Reclaim.
            Filings verified from leggings reclaim.

hehe...guildie gave them to me, I needed bricks....and thought what the heck =)

Edit: I was successful in making the charm tonight! Somewhat odd, though...even though I am using magnetic leggings, the charm did not show any stats.

Sorry to derail, but is this all we get out of the last expantion? 4 crummy charms that aren't worth a fraction of it's components especially considering you have to be wearing it's crappy armor counterpart to see the effects, and that will never be as good as the free PoP-flag charms after a few flags? We potters got the major shaft in GoD too, I was hoping for something nice from OoW.

Of course there's alreays the chance that there will be more uber undiscovered stuff, but look at all the stuff that has been found for all the other tradeskills so far, and we get 4 recipies other than quest and utility stuff? Very disappointed here.

Hey, how about posting that in the rant section?

First off, the expansion was just released...how do you know for sure that these charms are the absolute final result?

Secondly, did you take into account that maybe not everyone is in a raiding guild? Not everyone is going to have a chance to get all their PoP flags.

Besides...the armor itself is actually pretty good. This gives someone the chance to equip themselves with good gear...and as they get better items, they can pass down/sell the charm so that they may benefit.

So....yeah. Stop bitching. We had been asking for tradeskilled charms and now we have them. I highly doubt that these 4 charms will be the end of it all.

Ranting about a poster's post being a rant... bet that could be part of a cyber-age nursery rhyme. =D

Anyhoo, for comparison, the Tainted Heartstone, which can be had in the bazaar for well under 10k on Veeshan.

You don't have to be in a raiding guild to master all of the odd-ball languages. You merely have to have 1 hr of someone's time, and be one of the listed classes.

I understand and subscribe to Tyron's views on the matter. Four flags in PoP already qualify for something superior. You also don't have to have ALL of the visible gear worn (gl on finding that much bazu / feran blood). Gear that has no foci / effects and that is surpassed easily by the new OoW tier 1 armor. IMO, unless it's murkglider, in which case you can use the above-mentioned superior charm, it's easier to find two-three pick-up raids (since not all PoP flags require raids) than it is to get that many bloods.

However, if you look at it merely from the standpoint of, "Praise be the Maker, we finally got some charms! They're charms and that's all that matters! Woohoo!" than it's fine and dandy. I can also accept this.

I would just like to see more potent charms introduced. Hopefully, and at the latest, with the next expansion. =D

"Shorn Murkglider Tentacle" - Where are these found and off of what please? I know they are for the OOW cleric chest piece and the other piece for it is Dragorn Elder Sceptre off Velketorin in WoS. Please let me know!

I came across a Blooddrinker's Vial in the Bazaar. It becomes more powerful the closer it is to midnight. I don't know where it drops, but the stats are from Lucy. I post it for the sake of comparison.

                        -----

I haven't the faintest clue what Shorn Murkglider Tentacles and OoW armor quests have to do with either tradeskilled charms (this thread) or tradeskilling in general (this board / website). However, I recommend just browsing your local Bazaar at different times during the day / evening. I know that on Veeshan the tentacles pop up often, and are between 500-5000pp.

With regards to expecting replies to off-the-wall questions: please don't take this as an encouragement. =D

For the sake of clarification: the Shorn Murkglider Tentacle is not used in an form of tradeskilling. It was merely mentioned as a possible tradeskill item, but it turned out to be for the tier 1 OoW quest armor.

All I can say is that I'm glad EQ2 is about to come out, so I can actually do some tradeskilling. These charms aren't worth the effort.

Note in the OoW submissions forum that someone has taken the plunge and confirmed Essence of Discord to be the murkglider power item. Presumably that makes it likely it's the missing component for the murkglider charm, in case anyone is still trying to make that.
