In addition to what Mauu has tried, I tried Water + Clump of Refined Ancient Taelosian Clay + the following combos in Klin:

Feran:
Feran Heart Blood + Feran Brainstem
Feran Heart Blood + Feran Tentacle Barbs
Feran Heart Blood + Luminous Feran Eye

Murkglider:
Murkglider Blood + Murkglider Slime
Seeping Murkglider Fluid + Murkglider Slime
Seeping Murkglider Fluid + Murkglider Brain
Seeping Murkglider Fluid + Murkglider Shorn Tentacle
Seeping Murkglider Fluid + Murkglider Slimy Tentacle

Murkglider Blood had 2 items named identical - one for tradeskills and one for something else.

To reduce confusion, the one for something else was renamed "Seeping Murkglider Fluid" and now has a bright yellow vial instead of the bright red vial.

So when people refer to Murkglider Blood there is only ONE of this item and it is for tradeskills.

No, the Bazu Charm did not need a sculpting tool. I assume that's because it was done in the Klin and not the pottery wheel.

I am trying the Murkglider and the Feran attempts with both types of bloods.

Feran Brainstem and Murkglider Brain are the only "Feran" and "Murkglider" items with a merchant value of 6 pp (as recorded by Lucy atm).

Bazu Heart, Lightning Core, Pyrilen Flame, Gelidran Ice are ALL 6 pp.

I think we need to fiddle around with the Feran Brainstem and Murkglider Brain more.

I failed the combine but the recipie is:

Clump of Refined Ancient Talosian clay
Flask of water
Lightning Core
Magnetic Filings

(done in a kiln)

Magnetic filings are currently only known to be produced from the Gashed Magnetic Breastplate Reclaim.

Because this charm uses a Power item and the first one didn't, it leads me to believe there may be 8 total charms. Unfortunately my time has run out and I must return to Mundania. Will try more experimenting tonight.

Murkglider Sinew has a tradeskill tag.

Murkglider sinew is for the Bow String, but I shall try it also and then post again.
Also, will retry with the brainstem and other item suggested that costs 6p, but those were tried and DNC.

Tried murkglider sinew, murkglider brain, and feran brainstem using the recipe substituting appropriate bloods and pieces .... all with a DNC. I think I have now tried all of the droppable feran items (as listed on Lucy) and still no combines.... all DNC.... have also tried all various appropriate tailoring-type hides for all the charms and all DNC.... I still have not been able to find murkglider slime, murkglider beak, murkglider crushed brain, torn murkglider eye, or the deflated murkglider heart. If anyone is on D Ro and has them, I would appreciate the chance at the combines. Any other suggestions on the feran piece? Ooopps.... forgot the severed feran tentacle... the same as for the ice cream churn... haven't found that one, so I haven't tried it yet.

I tried the murkglider slime. DNC.

I even tried the attempts with the non-Ancient clump of clay (thinking that maybe it's Ancient for smithing charms and non-Ancient for tailoring charms). DNC.

Gonna work on magnetic for a change of pace for now. Trying to see if there is a "normal" recipe apart from the "powered" recipe found by Sojiba.

It's amusing to me in a way, that I'd rather thought those magnetic filings might somehow come into play on the plate charm. Had to be something to substitute for the blood. Good call figuring it out!

Severed feran tentacle and Wiry feran fur DNC. I have now exhausted all the feran combines with all droppable feran items. Maybe the feran recipe is broken? Or maybe the recipe has changed... I have also tried with 2 bloods as a variation and nothing combines. I am still looking for Murkglider beak, torn murkglider eye, and murkglider deflated heart to attempt those combines and going broke buying all the items that so far DNC....lol Oh yes, and this Vah Shir Bard has licked herself almost bald with frustration.... not exactly pulling out her hair, but nearly furless now.... thank the ancestors for armor

Name of the charm effect is "OOWMagneticCharm". The effect name is not too encouraging for there to be a "normal" level charm on top of the "powered" level charm.

I still haven't gotten someone to sumbit the Bazu Charm I made to Lucy. So can't compare stats or name of charm effect yet.
