95% change on augs with 275 base + 5% mod?

Good day rogues!

Am I correct in thinking that the maximum success chance on cutting augs is reached at base skill 275 if using a 5% modification? I would be grateful for any confirmation or correction.

(Edit: I mean finishing the aug with the rogue/shaman part, not the cutting!)

Yes, you are correct. There is no need to skill up to 300 for doing augs, your success chance will not get better after 275 + 5% modifier.

Might want to take a look at this thread on success rate caps for augment combines.

I'm getting 70 - 80% success rates with 315 modified skill, so my personal experience shows evidence of this cap.
