And it is even worse for the buyer, who often has no idea of how to look stuff up in Alla or even how to insert an augment into an item. It can be hard to sell the items in bazaar, because they appear with 0 stats, and most are not aware what is possible with the augment combinations. And what if we have a new progression server? Then we are going to need those old enchanted recipes again. My biggest complaint, though, is when you return to EQ and go back to what you are familiar, and then find out the world has changed. It makes it feel alien, not like an old friend that you are returning to visit.
EQ changes. If you want a static world, sorry, that's not this game.

The stats will show up in the bazaar, hopefully, as soon as they finish the implementation of stats for scripted items. I have the impression that it's definitely on the list for coding time.

I'm feeling so exuberant about the way the EQ Code team is spending their time right now, it's just hard to complain about what they aren't getting to. I mean, their to-do list looks like this:
    • Loot all DONE
    • West bug DONE (or at least hidden)
    • AA scaling for new people ON TEST
    • Keys for all old locked zones COMING SOON
    • Reliable /pet hold COMING SOON

It's like we've been living on broccoli all these years and they've started handing out candy.
I tried combining Celestial Solvent, a Raw Rough Hide, Rough Hide Solution and a Skinning Knife. But the result was such an oxymoron, it opened a rift into another universe. I fell through into one of Nodyin's spreadsheets and was slain by a misplaced decimal.

Give me working stat food, a jewelcrafting system that doesnt take an advanced EQ degree to figure out, and mounts that dont quit levitating everytime I zone or give me death.

That much, at least, is in the game already.

was actually managed to be done without any code support, just a designer (Rytan) making the changes

            Do I sense some inter-departmental rivalry? =)

              Not really

Just being clear that that is not something taking up our precious code resources.

The designers ARE busy, but there are more of us than coders, so we are able to get more done.
