Ability: Mass Enchant Dwerium

The protections are:
It checks if you have the proper expansion for the AA (DoN for Palladiuim, SoF for Dwerium)
It checks that you are the proper level 51-54 for Palladium 60 or 61 for Dwerium
It checks to be sure you are an enchanter.

If you fail at any of these it will not cast the scroll. (this will NOT be in until the patch)

Maybe you shouldn't be able to buy the scroll if you don't meet the requirements.

The palladium scrolls cost less than 4pp each. Not a great loss even if you should find out afterwards that you can't cast it.

Though I can do the level part. There is a weird bug with the "expansion" part. (on vendors... not in the right click script I am using)

One person reported this recipe, but that was later confirmed the wrong recipe.

I have not had a chance to try to find the recipe, so I have jsut been sticking to the Mass (which has an 8 hour recycle timer). It should be something close to what is listed.

My only guess would be to try to add an Ink of Prexus. But, like I said, I have not had time to mess with it (I would not have the other but I snuck in a little time Thanksgiving Day to work the Mass recipe for the enchanter).

Question for Ngreth: When will they be fixing the recipe for Ability: Enchant Dwerium? It shouldn't be that difficult to substitute one item in the recipe for another...and while I realize the tons of code EQ takes (I spent 20+ years as a COBOL Progammer) it's not something that should be that difficult to fix...especially considering that it was probably intended for enchanters somewhere in the 50's levels (I'm guessing) to be able to make a single bar at a time, and with only the Ability: Mass Enchant Dwerium we're stuck until we hit level 61?

I fixed it already.

The "hard" part is that it takes a full server down patch to get the changes into the game. Those unfortuantely are not made for small fixes like this. There is one scheduled for Wednesday.

So you're saying that Wednesday is a full server down patch and the fix will go in, or Wednesday is NOT a full server down patch and the fix will have to wait? And since it's been fixed is the recipe going to be as stated above in the thread or is the recipe for Ability: Enchant Dwerium going to be different than what's above? Thanks...

As per the game notes, there is a patch scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, 12/12.

No, that will still make the spell it makes today.
The enchants are moving to Invigorating Thickener to remove the conflict(and because it makes more sense than Conjuring).

This recipe doesn't work...I get the message "You cannot combine these items in this container type!" using a spell research kit...any chance you guys can come up with a recipe that works?
