Its also appears that there is Dwerium, and I would guess that it is even better then enchanted palladium.

Someone posted that the new uncut gems can make effects like farrune and such, is that with Dwerium only?'

The trio rings seem to have one slot 11, (uncommon gems such as taaffeite and the nihilites I think) and two slots 10s which are common gems such as vendor bought gems.

If I understand the system correctly, and it's entirely possible I don't.. you would probably want a Palladium trio ring(Or the new enchanter made crystal/metal stuff) with Taaffeite and two cut vendor bought gems depending on which stats you want to add to it.

well i hope dwerium adds the missing effects to the jewelcraft, i mean every single item in sof hast a {lot} of effects + new effects.

if dwerium will not add a HUGE boost to the high end jewelcraft made stuff i fear it will be as always, twinkgear at most.

best piece would be a dwerium trio ring with taaffeite aug in slot11 and one slot10 with another vendor hp gem, pushing the hp on the piece to around 300 and then its all about effects.

So basically if you have taafite you would be foolish to put it into any other item cept dwerium trio.

Faerune comes from the new cut gems mounted in ANYTHING

I made a bracelet with Faerune from the enchanted Palladium

The trade-off is that each item has only one Type 11 slot, and so if you go for Faerune you cant get the huge stats of a Taaffeite or Harmonagate

The Type 10 gems are all store bought and pretty reasonable.

And if I had to guess, all those Faycite items are for a Jonas Dagmire Skeletal Hand-type quest series.

15k-25k on Maelin and I bought just about all taaffeite under 25k

According to Allak, all cut Taaffeite except round and trilion are the same stats. Round and trilion don't have stats listed so no one probably made it with Alak's item collector.

if you look at the various cut taaffiete palladium rings each type has 4 stats, some lower some higher. when mounted in the new trio cut palladium ring it has those same 4 stats with the difference being they are all 17.

i am expecting a new gem better than taaffiete to be discovered in the higher end (maybe raid) zones of SoF, but that's only speculation.

In the Data Collection thread... Raw Faycite Crystals are used to make Dwerium.

In some other thread here... there's a spell-drop to enchant Dwerium.

I made a trilion cut Taaffeite today, and set it in a Palladium Trio ring. Stats were:
AC 14
hp/mana/end 190
sta/agi/dex/int 17
all resists 17

No level req. Ring also was not attuneable, or limited in any way.
I put a Peridot and an Opal in it for 21 AC and 266 hps and gave it to my SK

will they attune when they are put in some piece of jewelry or when they are first worn? i'd guess that it would work like the deity augs, but...

will there be any way to see prospective stats before they attune/before wearing?

i put a square-cut harmonagate in a platinum trio earring last night. the hp/mana/end were 80, and alla is showing stats of 200 for that cut/crystal, so (to grossly over-generalize from a single datum) it looks like the new platinum jewelry gives 40% of the stone's max stats.

i'll post full stats in the database-update section when i can get on tonight.
