If you make the gems attuneable...does that mean the whole JC item becomes attuneable once a gem is set? (unusally an augmentation passes on any attributes like NO TRADE to the item it augments.)

If so, given no one can see any stats until they actually wear the JC item, that's gonna be a problem....traders won't be able to try on their wares to inspect the stats and still sell them...

The reseach people have the recipe for enchant dwerium (chanter only) - dosn't look to hard to make.

Now that we can enchant the dwerium looks like we might want to be trying taafite in dwerium, if you can make trio stuff with dwerium which I assume you can.

Im waiting to level up to 80 and get my int as high as possible before I start going past 300.

yeah, it is going to be a problem no matter what.

Right now them not being attunable is actually causing a problem, and until code can wrap their head around it, this helps with the problem.

We do still plan on getting some sort of "stat" information on the gems also.

Also, with stats not showing until you equip it making them attunable is shooting this whole revamp in the foot. Its a bad bad move and should be carefully rethought. Any experimentation means you bought the whole piece and that, my friend, is just not right.

You should publish an official list of what each gem does in each setting so we aren't punished for whatever problem has occured.

Yeah that really sucks for us that are trying to sell these, so we have to make atleast one of each gem for ourselves that'll become attuned to us so we can see the stats, then sell the rest, but since nobody else can see the stats, you almost have to sell them in the /auction channel or nobody will care one bit about what they are. Not to mention how many people are going to want to fork over a bunch of plat for something that they can't even see the stats on? They're going to be a little worried that they're going to lose out.

I'm gonna go with: Augged items in shared clearing banks, and selling augged items to vendors (or players in trader mode) crashing the client.
They haven't been able to fix this yet, and rather than crash more people's banks, they made it attuneable so you couldn't get into the bank crashing situation. It's kind of the lesser of two evils, and if making them attuneable can move coder time from fixing the crashing/clearing to displaying stats, I can deal with it.

That's pretty much as good as it gets as of now anyway. With no level limits on it its pretty great for lower level toons, if they eventually level limit it not sure how much use it will be.

I have to join the "this is bad and completely defeats the whole point of the revamp" bandwagon. Yes, not as bad as the consequences of not doing it, but arguably those consequences shouldnt have made it out of beta. Regardless of the reason, they did and something has to be done. This is obviously a bandaid on what aught to be a top coding priority as of today.

but with sof and solo mobs dropping items close to 300hp + effects + focus it has simple nothing to do with "high end" ive expected.

i made a dwerium ring today, but it also has the no trade tag on it like in the pictur, but someone is selling the exact same thing in the bazaar and it is not no trade, did i miss something?

The item is drop able, it's the augs that makes them no drop. The one in bazaar is either without augs or was augged before the patch and remained drop able because the attunable tag wasn't set. The gems were made attuneable to temporarily prevent a bug that would wipe the bank if you tried to put augged item in the shared bank. Until a permanet fix is implemented, the gems will remain attuneable and will become no drop when inserted.

Until the JC is changed with rec or req level, they are insane twink items. My baby necro has 4 dwerium gears with several gems and I spent only 30 minutes in the mistmoore. gained 5 levels in a hurry. I would have not be able to do this solo without the twinks.
