Pale Nihilate needed for the Smithing Trophy quests.

Two of us are stuck on this and can't get any PN to finish the smithign journeyman or higher trophy quests. Any advice?

Crimson Nihilite (refined from Raw Crimson Nihilite) works for the GoD smithing recipes.

I did the refine quest on my chanter a long time ago. Now i can't refine them in my reinforced JC kit, planar JC kit or anything.

A guildie that didnt do this abysmal quest DID refine them in a planar JC kit?? What is going on??

I did the GoD quest yesterday, and Raw Crimson Nihilite is DNC in my Reinforced Kit. It is not entirely clear to me if Ngreth's fixes have gone through on a patch yet.

Bugged until next patch - currently, players lower than lvl 76 cannot do the refine combine. This is just the refine combine. GoD recipes and SoF recipes (other than the refining) can still be done.

Currently, players below 76 can get the new raw nihilites refined by giving them to the NPC *next* to Gloria Morningbloom in Abysmal - can't remember her name atm - she gives you back 2 refined for every one of the new raw nihilites you give her.

yeah. We have a limit of 8 "old" hand-in only quests per NPC... and I ended up with 20 quests between two PC's so I had to move things around, Since I had added her for more jewelry equipment to sell, I went ahead and moved quests around.

Just wnated to mention that when you do the raw turn ins the quest NPCs tell you thanks and if you happen to find anymore Pale Nihilite... It didn't matter what type of nihilite I turned in or to which NPC. They all say thanks for the Pale Nihilites.

I noticed that the other day. I *think* I fixed it to be more generic to "any more nihilite." Needs patch of course.

The level 76 thing is fixed.

the quests and dialogs on the NPC's should be fixed.

I did not get the new recipes to make the new shimmering work in the weapon recipes, nor any legacy pale nihilite work to make a cut gem. those will be next patch.

Legacy pale nihilite and shimmering nihilite will continue to work in the weapon recipes. Legacy shimmering nihilite can be cut. Crimson Nihilite can be used where pale nihilite was to make weapon recipes.

sorry...was curious if the legacy nihilite would be able to be used in the new j/c items yet...also, any idea if/when theyre going to level restrict the new items??

Is there a target date for the next patch? I have some old pale nihilite sitting in my bank waiting to be cut.
