    Most stats mean almost nothing.
Most stats over 255 mean even less.
Most casters have no problem getting int/wis to cap with today's gear by level 50. The only other stat that has much meaning is stamina (which of course you can get on this jewelry).
Resists are important.. but since when is +27 total to resists bad?
HP/Mana are what matter, and +75 to both is more than adequate till at least 65(as good as elemental rings, which were considered very good when 65 was the cap).
Sure you will have to upgrade them someday, but there is an awful lot of good req 60/63/65/66 gear out there and this stuff will suffice to get you there.

What "Most stats mean almost nothing"? Not including STR and Charisma(unless talking about bards/enchanters) There all very important. Everything has diminishing return for every stat(Have to agree with you there) after 200 but getting to 200 on each stat will show direct improvements reguardless what class you play. AGI/DEX proabally has the most arguments about what advantages it gives you if your a caster and I don't recall reading anything official from Sony what this does for casters The only thing I have "officially" read was from original release(and we all know how accurate that is now in todays EQ ) saying AGI helps avoide being hit(all casters are avoidance based by the way) and DEX helps with critical hits(the argument is whether it also helps with critical blasts and I have not read a definitive answer on that). INT/WIS is helps mana for respective school of magic, STR helps with ATK and Charisma has a lower diminishing return than the other base stats(around 125 from last bit of unofficial testing I seen posted). Also things divisible by 25(I think cause EQ doesn't use decimals so things divisible by 25 get past the .xxx that you would get with 151-174/25 in a stat) upto 200 seem to be bigger jump's on the curve of advantages you get from having higher stats.

So getting to 200+ in 4+ stats(AGI, DEX,STA, and INT/WIS) so you don't have to rely on buffs is usually what I'm after(and have almost accomplished, still under 200 AGI on my caster) and I notice a huge difference than say having 150's or even 175's in those stats(but this may be a perception as I have not done any parsing as to how may crits/missed hits I have vs. xxx mob).

The resists are awsome also btw on this jewelry.

One example I'll use is the "ethereal" line of armour out of PoR (there is also back and shoulder armour but isn't under the "ethereal" nameing). It has TONS of raw +HP's/Mana but the other base stats/resists are +1 through +5 depending on piece. Under your reasoning(and I'll admit I'm probally taking you to literally ) You should use this armour as the other abilities shouldn't be a concern(+STR, STA, AGI, DEX, AGI, WIS/INT, and CHR) as the raw HP's/Mana make up for lack of stats. Although I have had trouble equiping this gear cause of all my stats across the board I lose(all though I gain about 30-120{depending how many pieces I equip} extra HP's/Mana) Mabye if there was a better(verifiable) way of telling me what I lose by sacrificing/having my DEX/AGI at or lower than 200/175 I would then change gear out strictly for HP's/Mana.
What is all the fuss about? So I forgot to pick you up at work...I just gained a level !!! -Favorite last words as I sleep on the couch

Well I am glad you agree with me on the prestidigitase resists being good, you seemed to be discounting them in your previous post.
But as an int caster, this is what the various stats do for you:
Str--Helps you carry loot (assuming you don't have WR bags)
Sta--Gives you more hp(while not that many more for casters, I still consider it a worthwhile stat)
Dex--Helps you skill up channeling if for some odd reason(too many monster missions) you don't have max channeling for your level already. Note that it doesn't help you channel, just helps you get skill ups.
Agi--Very slight increase in avoidance (avoidance is a good thing, but the avoidance from agility is so small that you would have to parse to find the benefit of +100)
Int--Used to determine how much mana you have, helps with tradeskill skill ups
Wis--For all intents and purposes does nothing for an int caster
Cha--104 is enough to get you best price from an indifferent vendor, up to 200 has a slight benefit for charming/pacifying (leveling once has a bigger effect on charm duration than 200 more charisma)

So yes, I would recomend getting the armor that has more hp/mana over armor with better base stats.
