I leveled an enchanter to 49 with the idea of doing JC with her. But I also have a 65 shaman with 191 JC already (from 8th shawl). I'm sure I'll eventually level the enchanter but it'll be a long time before I even think about getting JCM. Is it worth it to start over just so I have that route available to me?

My thought is that JCM is very much worth getting for JC, specially for high end JC like PoP combines. I would always use the enchanters for combines in JC from now on although 2 of my characters are GM in JC.

Considering you'll need to use the enchanter for enchanting metals and the like anyway, might as well use the enchanter, if you don't mind spending the cash to get the enchanter up to where the shaman is already. It's up to you, what you do will decide your own fate.
