For the record, I buy from Kiztent. His prices are as low or lower than anyone else on the server...and he is still hosing me!!! =D

Seriously, his vials go *very* fast. So fast that I have to just get him to make them for me when he is on because his mule cannot hold onto them very long. Then again, SH has 4 or so guilds in the Elemental planes working on "Aid" quests, so about half the server is now a GM at some tradeskill (that is a bit of an exaggeration, but not as much as I would like) and working towards the rest. I am not sure about the availability on other servers, but basing it on other people saying they were "surprised" to find BDs on a vendor when on any given day I can get 2-3 stacks of them from a vendor (at 262pp each), I would guess there are just not as many high end tradeskillers on other servers.

I will reiterate that the big money maker would be CEs for 5pp each.

Celestial essence don't sell worth jack for me - I've had them at lowest price on Xev for quite some time (around 3-4 each) and they refused to move at all - I'd only sell one or two at a time - probobly to someone who came up short on something else.

So I turned them into Coldain tempers - at 20p each I couldn't keep them in stock.

Then one night I had a pricing snafu and priced them at 25 each by mistake - I'll be darned if they were snapped up imediately.

My brother has gotten on the bandwagon and sells his at 30 each - I told him they wouldn't move since you can buy from the Coldain themselves for just 26 - I'll be darned if that greedy little @#$% of a dwarf didn't sell just shy of four stacks of them at 30.

I just don't have the heart to charge that much for them myself though - it feels wrong - fortunately my fiances are stable enough that temptation is biting me on the bottom, but still...

I'd make the tempers but the Otters hate me after I culled them to extinction, and I can't be bothered to killl uthorks again.

Well, celestial essences are always a good thing to buy. Sickles and Ceremonial Solstice Robes will use up alot of em pretty fast, so I'd usually by em about 4 stacks at a time.

Coldain Tempers, I'd definately pay 25 - 30pp just for the convenience of not having to run to Thurg every time I need one. I've even paid 400pp a few times for a platinum thread because paying 190ish extra plat was more attractive than running to Thurg (Keep in mind, I'm a druid and can port to GD easily, I'm just very lazy like that!)

I tend to buy distilled mana alot just so I don't have to chase down an enchanter, I pay about 350pp per vial for that.

Back when I was skilling up on tailoring, I would pay 20pp for a cod fish or cod oil, but unless you love fishing, this just won't make you huge amounts of money. Spider silks and swatches, would pay up to 5pp per swatch. (But I'd buy em 100 at a time)

Leather paddings should sell well, especially if your server has a high percentage of elemental-planes capable folk working on the Aid Grimel quest.

Swirling shadows likewise, if you have alot of high level people skilling up smithing and throwing plat around, you could probably sell these 50pp each... granted it's not a COMBINE, but hey farming is profitable too.

I buy every single Tae Ew Blood I find in the bazaar for sale, so I guess if you're of a level that Cazic Thule is doable for you, it's a great money maker... they really upped the drop rates on those now.

Can't really think of anything else at the moment...

Depending also on your server, you might want to get to know the well-known tradeskillers on your server and do custom orders of celestial essence or or tradeskill stuff for them. That's what I do on my current server, and I often get orders numbering in the low thousands! And a lot of the time, they will refer you to their friends who will also order from you.

Whoever said mana vials don't sell well must be an enchanter trying to discourage competion. ;-P

I tend to mark up my enchanted stuffs about 20% above material cost. I used to try to stock everything, but it just got to be too time consuming. So now I only do the high end stuff.

Enchanted clay - at 1pp per, sell as fast as I can make 'em.
Enchanted silver - about 2 weeks to sell a stack.
Enchanted gold - about 1 week to sell a stack.
Enchanted electrum - about 1 month to sell a stack.
Enchanted platinum - about 2 weeks to sell a stack.
Enchanted velium - about 3 weeks to sell a stack.
Velium bars (unenchanted) - at 275pp, sells slightly faster than enchanted velium at 300.
viscous mana - at 10pp per, sell as fast as I can make 'em.
cloudy mana - *crickets* anyone use this stuff?
clear mana - 2 or 3 months to sell a stack.
distilled mana - (my true bread and butter) at roughly a 26pp markup per, I sell on average 30 per day.
purified mana - 30pp markup per, and sell around 12 / day.

With a dread of tailoring up on me, I will be using tons of celestial essences for the robe combines. I would buy them by 100s if they were available at a reasonable price.
