Tried posting this yesterday, but think it got lost.
Speaking from the perspective of someone who has 250 skill in 6 of the skills - with one left to go. And that one is tailoring, and I am extremely burned out. Its just one more tradeskill, so I should be eager to complete it, but its such an arduous one, and I admit I have a bit of a mental block about it. Its been nearly 2 months since I finished the 6th skill (fletching) which was right on the heals of the 5th (smithing). And in those 2 months, I've gotten 9 skill ups in tailoring, haven't even crossed 200 yet, (197). Every time I sit down, I am extremely disappointed in the number of skill ups for the number of combines I am doing (I had very good luck with smithing, averaged 14 combines/skill up post 200). I keep finding other things to work on instead.
My advice, do one of the long and painful ones first (tailoring or smithing), recognize that you are going to have another that's just as long as painful, and a couple more that are pretty close to those. And see if you really have the heart to finish it.
And ya, 200 hours camping is an underestimate in my book as well.
