Anyone willing to point out what's missing from the PoP Tradeskill Drops page? T'would speed up the process of getting it updated, if anyone has a chance in the meantime.

I did so a while back for a lot of those, posted them in the Comments/Suggestions to the Denmother forum. One of the mods said they put the info into the database that is to be released (soon, hopefully). No changes were made to the drop table.

This is the entire forage table for the planes, as listed on eqtc.
tell me if anything OTHER than what's already noted are used in tradeskills, and i'll make up a list of just-for-tradeskill-forages.



POP Forages
Several PoP zones have special forages, and not normal ones, or only contain certain ones. Decay, Disease, Innovation - only the listed forages, and no "common" or edible forages. Justice, Knowledge - listed forages, roots, pods of water

Bastion of Thunder
-- rain water - used for human smithing temper
-- lightning stone - wt 0.5, small, all/all
-- thunder stone - wt 0.5, small, all/all

Crypt of Decay
-- cockroach - used in baking
-- deadly mushroom - wt 0.6, small, all/all
-- dusty cobweb - wt 0.1, small, all/all
-- fetid fluid - wt 0.5, small, all/all

Disease
-- deadly mushroom - wt 0.6, small, all/all
-- malarian larvae - wt 0.1, tiny, all/all, slot: ammo, skill mod: fishing 3%

Agony/Nightmare Mephit Heart

NIGHTMARE
-- agony mephit heart - from agony mephit, rare in hobgoblin caves. QUEST.

The item that used to be called the agony mephit heart has been renamed to Nightmare Mephit Heart. I have one in my bank and was surprised to see the name change. It's still used to smith the Box of Souls for the HoH(a) key. They may drop off regular nightmare mephits now and not just the agony mephit, but I am not sure.

I notice that you're missing the mob information. These drop from hobgoblins, nightstalkers, and rarely from mephits in PoN.

No, my bad. They are *not* tradeskill related. I probably misread the original post and thought it was more of a generic "keep this if it drops in this zone" type thing. So, just ignore my post.

Right, I'll use my pally to plvl your druid. No tks! But I'll put you on the free KEI list . Quadding your way to 46 won't be hard for planes. Getting flagged for the ones you can't just walk in is going to be a challenge on SZ at that level.

Reruga meat or hero parts - you're probably best off giving tells straight to Hate. They'll probably make you pay through the nose, but they don't seem to have a vast interest in tradeskill stuff. I do see hero parts in the bazaar from time to time which I usually snatch up. Never seen reruga meat though.

A few more things

Since I didn't say it before, great job, Sanna! I've kept a similar list for my guild but slacked lately, so it's wonderful to see a comprehensive one here.

Since the components for the Zek-bane weapons are missing from the EQTC page, they are also missing from your list.

TACTICS
Decorin Ore Shards - from the animated decorin blades in the Tagrin event. These are No Drop and Lore... grr. SMITHED into Drunder's Steel.

TORMENT
Insanity Fangs - from the constructs. BREWED into a Pulsing Black Vial which is used to upgrade the Dark Courage weapons to Black Insanity. (This is a no-fail SMITHING combine.)

VALOR
Valorium Shards - from the crystalline golems and spiders. These are No Drop but not lore. BREWED into a Pulsing Blue Vial that is used to SMITH the Dark Courage weapons.


And a couple of other miscellaneous things:

Bricks of Ethereal Energy and Strands of Ethereal Energy drop from random mobs in all Tier 2+ planes. I'm not sure if it's worth listing them under each one, but I did for my guild just for the sake of completeness (and for the blockhead ogre warriors who need it as simple as can be).
