I'm in the process of making a progressive guild initiation quest one step of which envolves finding a number of ground spawns all over the world.

Is there such a thing as a comprehensive ground spawn list. I've looking but I can only find mention of a few separate items.

Alternatively, please list below all the ground spawns you know of (name and zone (location not needed)).

Some of the hollowshade drops are no drop if I remember correctly, and there are lots more if you want to include the ground spawns used for quests (the rods for ice comet, the rods for tashania, planar travellers book, ....)

Ahh yes, but those are forages. I'm looking for ground spawns. It's totally unclear to me what of that list is a forage and what a ground spawn.

Anyone know anymore ground spawns

Quick correction - there is no Misty Thicket Fruit. It is just plain old fruit like people forage - there is a place in the thicket with 4 ground spawns. And I think I think I goofed and they are really berries, I thought I made berry juice from them before I could forage as a wee little halfling (not that I am any taller now). I'll check tonight and let you know which they are. Also the Shar vahl ground spawns are all no drop too I think.

They are berries (normal, foraged berries) in Misty Thicket. There is a quest in the Rivervale Cleric guild that requires ruined wolf pelts, black wolf pelt, and berries. I did it so I could quest for the Acolyte's Anklet -- which I still wear over 40 levels later. Halfling clerics can't forage. Those ground spawns were put in so Halfling clerics could actually do the quest.

A piece of medalion is a ground spawn in the library of Kaesora. As I recall, there are several ground spawns in Dalnir giving the history of the zone. There are a couple of ground spawns for the enchanter epic -- One in Dalnir, one in Oggok, one in Overthere, and one in the Plane of Sky (Old World Plane). Of course, most of those are probably too high for your purposes. Hmmm, now that I think about it, there are ground spawns in most of the original cities for a level 44 Enchanter spell (Neriak, Felwithe, Oggok, Grobb, Qeynos, Erudine, Halas, Ak'Anon, most of them underwater).

There are 10 underwater rods which are ground spawns, for the wizards' Staff of the Wheel quest, they are no-drop though.

There are also 3 ground spawns for the Phenocryst Focus quest (also no-drop)

There are two mushroom spawns in Kaladim, the other is A Strange Dark Fungus I think. Both used to make the Kaladim Constitutional, which btw I tried to make last night (at 196 skill heh), 60 attempts, 2 successes, 2 skill increases... bleah. Those dorfs can keep their silly drink!

There is also the book spawn in the PoK library for the beginer's planar manual quest.

Probably useless for what you need, but still:

Scepter of Tears is a no-drop ground spawn in Lower Guk dead side. On the EQatlas maps, it's at room 1. It's reasonably safe to get to it if you're not KOS to live frogs. Be aware that dead frogs (ghouls) do wander down towards that area.

Hmm and there is that flower on the tomb in Mistmoore.
Oh and the Boots of the Reliant Book and ingot in Kith, the Shield of the Devout Icon in Mistmore, and an icon or ingot in Upper Guk in the pillar of water (Icon of the Penitant? I'll check)
And one more Clerical Ro thing under the river in everfrost.

When you get a list you like (which I guess will be easy things to get for a lowbie) can you share that? Sounds cool.

There is a container you can pick up in PoK library for the dark tome robe quest. It is an 8 slot container you put various no-drop dark tomes to get a nice INT caster robe.
