Well as a Troll GM smith I will be the first to say this sucks. And it looks like its permanent. They already have troll newbie quests that are based in nektulos, and I don't think they would have gone through the trouble of making them if they planned on letting the trolls retake Grobb in a week.

Me, I wanna find and join the other Cazic worshipping trolls. And am praying for maybe an update to the currently unavailable cultural smithing.

I dont believe people think this is just an event.

It is so obviously a part of LoY. Personally I would have liked to see the froglok starting city put in the Swamp of No Hope on those cool little platforms with frogs on them. Maybe they will become an outpost for the Gukta. At least people would go to this zone then.

I also vote that the frogs take over Kedge Keep too. An interesting looking/fighting zone that is currently empty except for epic questors.

I am sure the troll forge thing will be fixed very soon - a good indication to those illogical people that this will be a permanent change is when they fix the forge.

One good thing about this if it is indeed permanent (IMHO it is since there so many changes to Grobb) then the speculation that Froggys will start in an underwater zone and hafta fight underwater to start is false.. which is a good thing since underwater fighting downright sucks. =P

I doubt this would happen, as SOE have to design for the lowest common denominator - which would be old world only.

There is a whole website devoted to this change and people are still saying its not permanent? People are being charged for this change and other still think its temporary? I don't believe it.

Right..people are talking about it. Which is what you want when you are leading up to a launch.

I still maintain it is temporary...its hype to get the sales on the LoY expansion going (and a good one).

There are some changes that over overlayed on the old world...basically like sitting a halfling down and them plopping a troll down on top of them. The halfling is still there.

Plus, read the lore...there is a story that goes along with this, and since the Ykseka are Trolls, I expect the Trolls to make a big comeback.

And people aren't being charged for this- this change happened wheter or not you paid for the expansion- and whats more if it stays like this people will be pissed. Can you imagine the outrage? "I paid for an expansion and I dont even get a new starting city??!"
