Tradeskill Trophies succes rates?

Tell me about your luck or lack there off when you created your trophy.

I just hit 247 jewelry last night and as soon as a friendly enchanter casts purified mana for me I will be firing up the kiln to try and destroy 3500p in materials. I'm hoping that with a greelock enhanced skill of 252 I will be at the 5% failure level but my hands are still sweating. :?

0 for 2 so far on the grandmaster's spoon at 250 baking plus geerlok, and wisdom in the mid 240's.

Based on other people's success rates, it would be reasonable to imagine that the actual trivial is meaningfully higher than 250.

Seems to be about 50% success at 250. Meaning lots of people get it on the first attempt, and some poor schmucks take >10 attempts.

So far i've only done one trophy, the poison making one with my rogue. I did the combine at 232 skill w/ a 3% mod and succeeded on the very first try.

brewing trophy: 3 failures, one on the seal, 4th attempt I got it.
baking trophy: 2 failures and counting, first one on the seal.

Failed 4 times on Jewlery trophy last night - 3 times on final combine and once on a mounted jem. Skill 250 plus a geerlock 255 wis.....Still no trophy. Praying to Brell and doing the combine in the chapel in Thurg has not been lucky this time around.

Have had one die in the kiln for my chanter's JC attempt and one failure and one success for my troll's baking attempt.

Jewelcraft trophy (250):
1) Failure on seal (kiln)

Pottery trophy (243):
1) Success on seal, success on knife.

Never had a failure on the wheel. only the /rude kiln.

5% of 247 is 12.35

I was able to make my Bakers spoon on the second try , I had 250 skill in baking when I attempted it.

It is generally accepted that the highest possible in any tradeskill modified is 252. It isn't really able to be proven, but it is what I and most I know believe. His math was not faulty.

Last night after getting the purifies mana....


I got it! First try with a 140 pottery skill and a 247 + greelock jewlrey skill. Now I need to pettion a GM to let me wear it in my face slot as a monocle! :P

took me 2 tries to make my gm smithy hammer at 212+15% (243.8 effective skill /hug ironfrost)
