I know this is discussed quite a bit, in fact there is a post going on now about bags, but I had a thought based on some of the other discussions so here it is....
I understand Devs want to limit bank space, but there really should be special consideration for people who tradeskill verses those who don't. Any solution will likely require code changes and I know that is generally a problem to get resources. But if we can, I'd like the bank to have a separate tab at the top labelled tradeskills. When it is clicked a second bank is activated (looks just like your regular one). Every toon's bank would be like this. The slots except shared slots are all greyed out to start and become "ungreyed" out when you meet certain criteria, whatever is deemed appropriate. Could be reaching certain tradeskill levels, or completing tradeskill quests similar to the trophies to unlock the slots, or whatever.
Bigger bags would also fix the problem, and create a market boost for people making them. You could even incorporate other tradeskills besides tailoring, for example making wooden (fletching) or metal (smithing) chests. I know about the programming difficulties, but to be honest it really shouldn't be that hard speaking as a programmer of over 15 years.
Bottom line is that tradeskillers require way more space than others. Alt swapping is not a solution because there are so many no-trade items that have been discussed many times (for example the cultural patterns, trophies, etc.). This REALLY needs to be addressed before the next expansion, because to be honest we all do not have room for another 2075790257 no-trade tradeskill items + no-trade quest items for progression, tasks, etc. when November rolls around with new exp. Anyways feel free to discuss =)
