  • General tradeskill Wish list...

I just wish that player made items were the best a person could have in game better even than some raid items. I know this will not happen, but hey I can wish can't I?

Bristlebane's Challenge has a made by tag hidden. And it is possible more items could have this if Ngreth feels up to it and presents a new recipie that are challenging enough for this.

Storebought skill up paths thru 300 skill for all tradeskills.

        Alchemy / Poison-making / Tinkering for all.

        AA forage button for all.

The best player-made gear to be 80% of the stats of the best raided gear in the next (and all following) expansion. (Without needing a raid drop. Last Blood augs don't count.)

NPC vendors for player-cast spells (Mana vials, embued gems, enchanted metals / clay)

Quadrupple the drop rate or mobs dropping Gnomish Bolts.

Yeah... plus make the sky faint purple and the clouds fluffy pink cotton candy.

**Itek wanders off under the influence of working up Alcohol Tolerance skill**
In My (Not Always) Humble Opinion, except where I quote someone. If I don't know I say so.
I suck at this game, your mileage WILL vary. My path is probably NON-optimal.

          huh?

That "lore" bit on that is the first player to discover the recipe after over a month of people trying. Sorta like "Xanthie's Earring"

            1. All imbued gems were stackable to 100. Thanks to Ngreth for imbued emeralds to 100, but would like to see the rest to 100 also.

            2. New recipes (especially with new expansions) that actually make useful items that can sell in the bazaar.

            3. Alchemy learned by robe classes. Hey, if you make spells, why can't you turn lead to gold?

            4. Poison making learned by shamans. Hey, if you work with herbs, you can work with poisonous herbs.

            5. Raise the sell back to vendors on combines over 500pp and on farmed items to close the gap on loss per combine. Bad enough if you fail, but selling back for 5 gp to 0 cp really stings. For example, Star Ruby Encrusted Steins, Gem Studded Chains, Othmir Fur Caps, etc. Heck, make Othmir Fur Caps profitable to do the farming.

            6. When you link your Artisan Charm, it actually shows your stats as worn.

            7. Revisit items made by tradeskills like jewelry, tailoring, and smithing requiring drops from group/raid mobs. For example, Fiend Gut for Obsidianwood Compound Bow. Sucks you need to do PoF raid just to get a drop, and not many guilds are doing that raid anymore. Better to make the drop available on other mobs or sub the component for something more common. For example, Fiend Gut off of the Imps in PoF, or sub Fire Arachnid Silk for Fiend Gut. Make recipes viable again, especially on those few items that actually still sell.

            8. Tradeskiller Epic: Artisan Charm is very nice and progresses as you skill toward 300. Bravo! However, a tiered epic like the class epics would be nice.

            a. A tiered epic like 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, which relies on drops, skills, turn-ins, and tasks would be more intense than wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am combine.
            b. Make it no trade like other epics.
            c. Pick a slot (I would recommend secondary) since class epics are primary and you would use your geerlok or trophy in your primary, your offhand would be your tradeskill epic. (Edit. . . An augment would be super uber. That way it would never be replaced.)
            d. Make it something you would wear all the time, and not something you'd use just for skilling. Also, a graphic that shows your server that you are a tradeskiller of great repute.
            e. And lastly, don't make it raid dependable. Don't limit tradeskill quests to those in uber guilds!

Thanks! And hope these are considered.

Spell research for shaman. Hey, if you can turn lead into gold you should be able to make spells.

Actually, wouldn't want it, and someone just sounds ticked that they don't have a class skill and want all classes in the game to be the same in the long run.

id like everyone get forage... kinda like the iksar ghetto forage.

a quest to reset vendors. Just like the good old unrefined ore quests.

larger containers. 20 slot maybe. make them dang ass heavy and mostly just usefull as bank use. Kinda like trader satchels.

forage NPCs? Npcs that carry a limited supply of a spesific zones forageable good. get more trough quests or just when zone resets.

ability to store the recipees ive enabled in the same place as my ingame mail is stored. Since I reinnstalled eq and lost all my enabled recipees.

Still gonne push for the gift container ( been hopin for over a year). Many views on this but a nice graphic and the name Gift shouldnt be that hard to implement ( or is it ?).

                  cows.... selfexplanitory..

farms. Think that the farmers in the karanas suddenly started breeding othmirs hehe or grow planar fruits? or taelosian wheat?

make the last item dropped on the ground become the top item in the pile and not magically get teleported to the bottom
Note: Due to a hand injury caused by a friend throwing a broken scissor into my hand my typing = crap. So dotn be so critical.

                    Couldn't agree more!

I would settle for a 10 slot container container... as long as it wasn't lore =P Could weigh as much as you want as long as you can get it from where you made it to the bank, doesn't really matter. Nearly 10 times the bank space would be awesome!

I'd pay AA to be able to forage on a non-foraging "class". And more AA to be able to forage better. 1/5 = possible 50 skill max, 2/5 = 100 max, 3/5 = 150 max, 4/5 = 200 max, 5/5 = small chance to double up. Scale each AA cost 1 = 2 pts, 2 = 4, 3 = 6, 4 = 12, and 5 = 24. Give the Foraging "classes" a bump AA to increase their skill to 250 or 300 so they don't get the total burn from the deal, and make it cheap for them to do so.

Unless I'm mistaken having more than 200 forage does nothing. Forage skill only effects whether or not you find something. At 200 skill you always find something. Can I get a confirmation on that from someone?

Celestial essences ... stack to 100.

We can make 3 at a time now, because they are used so much in recipes. Makes sense to me to let them stack to 100 (or 500!!!! )

Particularly since things like Blue Diamond Powder now stack to 100.

Player made items with focus effects that work up to lvl 75 spells would be high on my wish list, alongside with Tonic of <...> affinity VI potions.
Not so excited about the forage for everyone, current restrictions are fine imo, we all recieved the ability to create vegetables already.
