Some??? I'm sitting in one room and my Brother in law is in the other room playing his toons and making funn of me to boot...lol. He got in before this mess what ever it is.
I am glad we have some "Official" Word here as there is none on EQlive. Thanks Ngeth you seem to be the only one there who really cares.

Matter of fact, www.station.sony.com is down, and many of the pages that link off the EQ site are also not responding. Since Sony's aware of it, hopefully they'll have it fixed soon.

It wasn't a matter of caring or not caring. Most of the SoE folks themselves couldn't reach their forums, much less much of anything else, which makes it kind of hard to put out an official word.

Thanks mom, but still it is noce to get some word I have seen a little elsewhere and it is comforting to know that there is some communication no matter how little. Still I am thinking that we are having this problem today and then a 6 hour patch tomorrow, perhaps when they get it up and running today why not go ahead for the patch today and be done with it. This might apease some out there who I am sure will vocalize their displeasure. As for me I seem to go no where whether I can log on or not so eh no biggie to me.

Patch was delayed until tomorrow.

SOE had some system issues yesterday (couldn't log into the board, or the game) and from what I can gather, they didn't finish everything they needed to in time for today.

Tuesday was our raid day - we normally start 1930 - and only a handful of people managed to get online till around 2100 GMT - so the whole day was scrubbed.

Thursday is our OTHER weekday raid-day -- and the odds are, this "8 hour" patch tomorrow is ALSO going to destroy our raid day.

But yeah. We cared... but we could not really communicate because we could not log in, and frankly this board hits to small of a cross-section of the overall EQ community to be used to make announcements.

There was something on one of the big sites (I forget which now) But even then it was not where people were looking for news, and unfortunately, we could not log in to give news where people were looking

We decided to get the community access FIRST, then ours, so because of this some of the community was better able to communicate than we were

Sorry, I should have been more clear in my listing. The "Login and servers are up" message was for yesterday's interruption of service.

There was no interruption of service. Servers have been up the entire time. The only issue was connectivity and not for everyone.
