    *** Tasks ***

    - Looting a stack of items should now update your tasks and quests appropriately.

    *** Items ***

    - Keikolin`s Mindhaze Sleeves now have a chromatic damage focus effect instead of a magic damage focus effect.
    - Goru's Girdle of the Deceased now has Improved Parry IV instead of Improved Parry III.
    - Increased the damage on Fleshmelter, Lethar's Maul.
    - Ice-Striated Iron Orb should now function properly.
    - Reduced the weight on hot zone augments.
    - Items should now show their appropriate cast times.

    *** Miscellaneous ***

    - Playing as a shroud that is significantly below your regular level now gives reduced experience while in a group environment just like it does while solo.
    - Instruments are now considered one-handed items regardless of which hand the instrument is in so you can wield an instrument and another item at the same time. You cannot wield two instruments at the same time.
    - Healing a pet now generates much less agro than before. Beware though, healing pets will still be noticed by NPCs and they will still be unhappy with the healer if the pet dies.

Judging from the arrow pointing nearish the Nile River, I'd suppose it's a play on the words 'the Nile', as in... denial.

          So, s/he's in denial.

Grim's reply to Qalador's reply is probably better stated as...

"Lack / loss of connectivity IS interruption of service by the user's definition."

See, oh Dear Lord of Jester's why do I still know this, the finals are over....

Reliability is measured in time between failures, and Availability is measured in the probability the service works when requested at a random time.

Very available = the phone on the wall is available 99.999% of the time. (5 nine's service)

This translates into 36 milliseconds of downtime per hour. Highly available... but it fails every hour, not very reliable. (Plus if the drops were 1 millisecond drops averaged over an hour you'd have EVERY phone call of length 2 minutes interrupted.)

(The example is hyperbole and should NOT be taken explictly.)

The servers didn't go down, and some people were not dropped, therefore from ONE measurement there was no interruption of service. (Reliable)

Some people couldn't get in, which by another measurement IS an interruption of service. (Service not available to a user at a specific time)

And now you begin to get an inkling into why Computer Scientists and Engineers shudder and curl up into balls and have bleeding ulcers when trying to explain these things to non-engineers.

People were denied access, but there was no interruption of service.... Just saying such things makes one half of your brain want to leap out of your head and beat the snot out of the other half of your brain.

Here's a real geek humor we developed this semester.

"It is imperative that we improve the functionality of functional programing laguages by making them less functional and more imperative."

(Used to describe the efforts to include more progn commands in C-LISP programs coupled with efforts to include LISP-style elements in C# 3.0 .... No, that isn't the joke.)

Thanks to all who caught the humor in that, apologies to everyone else.
In My (Not Always) Humble Opinion, except where I quote someone. If I don't know I say so.
I suck at this game, your mileage WILL vary. My path is probably NON-optimal.
