That's interesting. However, I personally believe that people who don't have shawl 8 should still be able to get the better one, perhaps by doing some extra steps. This is very much like the epic 1.5s, where you had a short cut if you already had epic 1.0, but could still do it with some extra steps if you didn't.

Another thing I'm a little miffed about is the VP key being redone, by requiring a small raid to upgrade to the new key. Not a tradeskill issue, but . . . it speaks to the fact that a lot of tradeskillers are not in big guilds, or do not have the time to tradeskill if they are in a big guild, so please refrain from making it a requirement to complete any new quests will flags for uber zones or that require raids. Just not really fair to the entire community.

My question of the week last week, was asking if Ngreth would consider removing the planar flagging requirements from the earring. No one does planar flagging anylonger, so that makes that earring impossible to do. It's hard enough that you need drops from the zones, but you could get them here and there in the bazaar (if they are tradable) or by getting gimped into the zone. Not sure when he'll have a chance to answer though. I suspect that he's still extremely busy with the expansion.Originally posted by OzadarAnother thing I'm a little miffed about is the VP key being redone, but requiring a small raid to upgrade to the new key. Any willingness to increase the drop rate of wailing or shrieking substances in wolves/owlbears home camps, rather than forcing tradeskillers to manipulate the war to get the faction they want onto the south islands?
As an Ayr'Dal, I have to wonder why and where my wandering "culture" came upon great reptiles. As we are primarily a forest-dwelling people, I think it would be more appropriate for our grand master level drops to come from a creature of the forest, rather than creatures living, for whatever reason, in a temple.
Some options:
Horse hooves/HQ horse skins (already an intentionally low drop rate on those)
Kirin horns or hooves/kirin hides or manes (yes, I know, they're also in a temple, but they also exist in outdoor zones in viable hunting quantities)
Panda claws or teeth/panda hides (assuming higher level, more challenging pandas ever make it into the game - mayhap it's time for people to finally find the Unkempt Forest - which would be the PERFECT place for Ayr`Dal cultural drops to be found)
I'm just yammering away here, don't mind me, I distract easily...
Oh, and can we get the trivial on the 1-cam PoR bows raised to higher than the non-cam variety? Not by any huge amount of course (higher than camless, lower than compound).Chase

Lizards of any type are temple worthy beings. I would say we should be worshiped, but I remember what happened to the Shissar when they pulled that. Lizards also live in forests, at least in rl in Florida. You can find them in the plane of nightmare since we don;t have a florida zone. (but yeah, the drop rate sucks there, no worshiping, they aren't motivated I guess--and the old Iksar's haven't started building condos in Timerous Deep-just that one full of undead) I hearby challenge you to a tree climbing contest if you are on Bertoxx.Originally posted by ChaseFVAs an Ayr'Dal, I have to wonder why and where my wandering "culture" came upon great reptiles. As far as drop rates are concerned: Any chances on coarse spider silk being better?
If GM cultural isn't going to be upgraded in any fashion, will there be tradeskill gear that will be compatable with raid gear like this is atm?Last edited by Eggborn; 08-23-2006, 12:23 PM.Eggborn Hatchedrotten
