Yah...Parchment Solutions suck to make...but hey I need to skill up (when I go back to Research).

I'm trying to make my own AAAA (minus the Tinkering parts), and that's quite annoying.

I think the next item I will buy (bulk amounts too) are Gnomish Heating Sources. I spent all night Sunday between Guild Hall and Corathus Creep buying these **** things (mostly because I don't know where the Forge is in Abysmal Sea). Those need to be available in PoKnowledge.

Side note: The forges in abysmal sea are behind the large building with the brewing/baking vendors (the one with the annoying bard) there's one outside next to a kneeling dwarf, and one or two more inside the building he's next to with all the ogres in it.

To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yeild.

I thought the question was buy vs make. I sympathise with the problem of bopping between the GH and the vendors, but it's not as though you have the option of making your own Gnomish Heat Sources.

When I'm too lazy or busy to log on a chanter I'll buy mana vials in small quantities when I need to get an order out of the way right then.

That said, I am curious what people would much rather buy than make themselves, below are the things that move quickly for me:
Personally, I try to gather all my own raws and make everything myself (or ask a friend to make it for me.) I'll buy stuff, if I'm like 1 item short for a combine or something like that, or if I find a spetacular price on something.

I rarely will buy anything in the bazaar aside from vials of purified mana, as I can farm or make anything else I need via myself or friends for tons less than what stuff sells for in the bazaar. Too many greedy people. I spend enough just buying various vendor sold items, I don't need to waste money on overpriced items in the baz too, especially when I'm most likely not going to be able to sell the result for anything but the paltry sum that an npc vendor might buy it for.

Just a different perspective... no offense intended.

These aren't items that are made, but well I wish people would stock them. Otherwise I would say I always hated making blessed dust of tunare. I also don't have characters that are high enough to easily imbue or make vials of mana. I always can use these items.

Foraged Emerald Oranges and Rathe Berries.

Emerald Oranges might be fun too, cause it's currently a hotzone. I would just rather play my main.

Drake Intestines. They just don't want to drop, and I hate mobs that can heal.

I would pay to be able to buy mana vials from an npc vendor with unlimited quantities. There are so few people willing to stock them in the Luclin baz that asking price is usually 3-4 times the price of making them and quantities rarely go over 200. Even if it were hand the npc the parts and get back the result... it would be so worth it... making them just isnt fun for anyone.

But some number of (I am not sure if it is "many" or "a small amount", but not important) enchanters would be rather upset if I took it from them more than the pittance that can be made via spell research. (and really, the spell research method is not competition... it takes a drop AND is more expensive.)

I have no plans to do that to enchanters.

                          What I buy atm..

Two words.. Corrathus Entrails! I have been trying to buy tons of those but they are never at a decent price and vendor farming always comes up empty. I need more guts! Aside form that. I know that Drachnid silks (or Drachnid silk swatches) sell fairly quickly as do Shissar Scales (and if your lucky Exceptional Shissar Bloods since your in SSRA anyways). As for non-farmed stuff I can't think of a ton that I personally would buy at my current status in tradeskilling (getting that stupid tailoring up). The key though is selling stuff for a decent price and not jacking it like most people. That's a hard thing though as most peopel jack it so it's hard to compare.
