  • A few more merchant suggestions ..

    A few more ideas:

    1. Some merchants only have a few extra slots open for player sold items. If possible, add a button to merchant window to switch between merchant sold items and player sold items. This would allow all merchants to have the maximum number of player sold items.

    2. Saving only items that are either tradeskill or quest related sounds good at first, but I'll bet people keep asking for items to be added. For example I've found some nice armor/weapons on merchants but I hate to think of the 99 percent junk armor/weapons taking up room. An alternative idea is save only items that are not merchant sold. This would eliminate a good percentage of player sold items (gems in particuliar).

Off topic, but I love the new tradeskill trophies. I was pleasantly surprised to see the fully evolved trophies have a particle effect

PS: Please have UI remember where I adjust the price portion of merchant window .. currently doesn't remember setting.

    1. can be done by clicking the column heading over the Quantity Available column on merchants. Merchant sold items will have --, player sold items will have a number in that column.

My point is that because some merchants are selling lots of stock inventory, they don't have room for player sold items..for example I know a couple of merchants that can only take one or two player items before they are full. Sorry I wasn't clear, I meant that all merchants would have max slots available (is it 80?) for player items.

        Adrift -

That means you need to make two sets of inventory for each merchant. It's not just a display issue. All merchants are handled by the same code, and thus only have 80 slots. Total. At all. Basically you're saying "double the number of slots for every mechant in the game, and make it so I can see the difference between player-sold items and standard stock items."

        Don't hold your breath.
