What are all of the tools?

Etching tool.

No-drop tools originally used shawl quest, and obtained by speaking to Meg Tucter in Thaug. They are now used outside the quest to make tradeable Engraved Royal Velium stuff. Not a good idea to make part of another quest tho, as you would need Thaugadin faction to get them.

I did some poking around in the database and got it to spit back a list of every single item that is used as part of a recipe and returned on both success and fail. Many of these items don't make sense as tools, some are cultural, and some are for quest only combines. I took my best shot at separating them, but I'll leave to someone else the task of dividing them by tradeskill. Also, don't assume I grouped them correctly; there were a few items I didn't quite understand, so I just took my best guess on them.

Can't you just querry the eqtrader DB for containers and any items that are returned on success?

Won't that give you a big list of tools, plus a few extraneous items?

Heh. The hammer was originally for the Coldain Ring quests, if memory serves. It was "shoe-horned" into the Aid Grimel quest when PoP came out.

I'm not sure how important separating things by tradeskill is for this project, but it should be noted that the Mark of Karana is used in cultural fletching, not in alchemy/poisonmaking. It's also free to anyone who needs it, so I wouldn't really consider it a tool.
