I'm satisfied with the reasoning behind success caps. There may be a better solution available, but I'd rather see other stuff done first.

This is what I would like to see:

    - A usable arrow that I would make naturally for use but which would also allow me to skill-up. Ideas include extra-longflight (extra 25 to 50ish range), extra damage (bane thing is good, I know that it requires code changes). Something where the drops are reasonable, similar to treant wood and broken battle blades for the new PoR bows.

A snare arrow, dot arrow (flaming arrow) wouldn't hurt. Things along the lines of the thrown alchemy potions. I'm sure there are better ideas (perhaps debuffs of some kind).

    - Would need input from bakers & brewers, but do food/drink stats need reviewed in any way? Such as adjusting some depending on difficulty of obtaining items? I know there are new food/drink items with PoR, so may have to wait on that.

All in all, I'm pretty pleased with what is going on. I think one of the larger concerns is the DoN tradeskill drops, but we've been assured that this is on the top of the list once the PoR issues are addressed, so no need to hassle anyone with that.

I would love it if Poisons were looked into! I've spent so much time and effort into raising poisons and it's very frustrating that they get resisted so often. I'll keep making and using them, but it's mainly so that I am a "well-rounded" rogue, rather than them actually being very useful.

Poisons could be so very, very cool! Currently they're kinda ho-hum. A lot of rogues don't even bother with them because of the difficulty vs. the reward. I plan on using them regardless, but it would be wonderful if they were looked at in depth and maybe could be revamped a bit.

I do love the 10 & 5 dose stacking capability now, though.

I love the stats on Juice of Quellious...as a dwarf paladin, I hate the fact that 4 of the items are foraged and at least one (oranges) is a pretty darned rare forage. No clue on Rathe Berries and Pitaya yet--after the experience with the Oranges (5 hours for six oranges), I haven't been able to talk anyone into trying to get me some of those. (And no, the bazaar is not a viable option when trying to get forages from under-utilized zones--they just aren't there.)

It is kinda sad that the best stat food out there is still from Planes of Power and that all the new recipes still fall way behind even Misty Thicket Picnics.

Juice of Quellious is great. Much needed item. A stat drink with mana.

i would suggest the new bow cams from the por expansion be moved to tinkering just like every other cam has been.

um they aren't? Could have sworn I made them tinkering... (just like PoP stuff... smithing for the parts, tinkering to make the cam...)

I just checked, they are tinkering. Subcombine is smithing, but it's always been that way.

Edit: Unless the recipe on the main site is wrong, but I'm sure someone would have pointed that out by now if it were.

Betting its the March 1st news item on the main site homepage that caused the confusion.

Yeah, the Battle Bow Cam prolly shouldn't be on that front page announcement. The other items look right, though.

Will do my best not to turn this into a rant ...

I think that baking and brewing need some serious attention. Many good new recipies rely on either very rare foraged items from zones long forgotten (diff berries) or on rare dropped items from high-level zones (Taelosian Mountain Tea & Wheat, for example). It's just feels wrong. Remember, we are dealing with consumables here, not with some permanent items.

I would love to see those rare foraged item added to some drop tables. I don't think that it will affect foragers in any way since nobody ever hunts in those old zones anyway. And I would love to see drop rate on baking/brewing components increased.

As of right now, I cannot buy components I need in Bazaar at any price. This doesn't feel right to me.

Cultural drops for GM aren't so bad, the drops for Masters seems much worse to me, at least for the augments.

I would like the Guildhall tradeskill containers to count as Tanaan containers. Also would be nice to add a couple bazaar search choices like tradeskill flagged and augmentation slots (yeah, that one isn't really tradeskill specific, but since I was asking for one bazaar thing I just threw it in there too).
