Updated those recipes in the database, which I suspect was the source of the confusion. When people don't mention the return of implements, we try to remember to mark them but don't always catch them.Retiree of EQ Traders...

Yeesh... pricey indeed, even with hammer returns. That steel is more valuable than platinum
Still, it looks like the final aug rewards will be nice (and hopefully somewhat obtainable by all); this just means my gnome won't be skilling up off of these.

If the augs are only really raid drops, though, I gotta wonder... who are they supposed to be for? Low end raiders, if they can win the event?
High end raiders won't be in cultural, and non raiders won't get the stones. Is this like Veeshan's Peak when it was first revamped, when it was 90% used for raider twinks? feh...
(And I say that as a raider whose twink would like the stuff... it just doesn't seem right to me. Maybe Zajeer's idea is that those are the harder mission rewards, so eventually, it ends up on par with MPG trial drops. *shrug*)

I'm slightly torn on this. I like the idea of having an option to high end gear being tradeskilled, much like when the new DoN cultural came out. Unfortunately, I'm seeing two problems with this. One, DoN cultural is slot 7. The people being able to aquire the stones in the first place will be largely slot 8 geared people. There are very few decent slot 7 hp/mana/ac augs that high end raiders would use that fit into a cultural slot. Second, if the Chronal/Discordant augs were geared towards middle class players (say MPG Trial level), how many of them are going to have access to the box. I'm currently making it for myself because I'm a tradeskill junkie and want one just because, but the average person on the street is not going to be able to aquire one cheaply if at all. I've used up practically all the refined ore on Prexus just making enough for two attempts. Between buying up all that ore and the 400 trips to Abysmal Sea because I miscalculated how many Gnomish Heat Sources I needed, it's a HUGE undertaking. Not even to mention finding a tinker to do it. I know I won't be giving out my box except to close friends for the sole purpose of being afraid I'd lose it. I'm sure high end guildbanks will have one, but smaller ones won't.
What I'd propose is make it a 50/50. Chronal and Disordant Stones can be tradeskilled while leaving the higher end augs, Bazu and Last Blood drops only. Make it so making the Chronal/Discordant stones takes a good amount of effort, but something that someone can still attain with one MPG par group. This could be a task, various drops around the expansion, or whatever, but so someone could actually do it if they set out to do it. Then the tradeskiller can combine the stone with the other items to somehow make one of two things. They can A.) Keep it no drop with powerful stats, or B.) Make it droppable with a hit to the stats. This not only rewards the tradeskiller, but gives them an option to make a profit instead. Just my two cents!

For pure melee, Disk of the Dragon Kind, Grandmaster's Wrist Symbol, and Bazu/Last Blood Augs.
For Warriors, using Bazu, Disk and GM Wrist/Aug it's a 430hp bracer with a focus. Using Last Blood, Disk and BiC they have a 575hp bracer . . .
Once my containers are all made, I'll be sporting this in place of my Qvic bracer, and it's a point I don't have to spend on an Anguish Bracer that gives me a very nice Focus:
