    On the subject of bankspace.

Why not suggest that there be a bank or two around the world that are separate to the usual bank, that you can only access from that place. A good place would be the Fordel Hold bank in SH. Items put in there could only be accessed from the same bankers, and the world bank would not be available there. This would provide 20 more bank slots, but not be too overpowering or such.

I'd be all for that...but it'd be even nicer if that extra bank was the big bank in PoK (and leave the little bank as is...or vice-versa.) PoK has pretty much become home base for everyone.

I think that things have improved with the stackability of spell scrolls, and increased stack sizes for arrows and such, but they DO need to go further.

There are more items that could use increased stack sizes (Celestial essence, omg!)

and 4-8 more bank slots would not be amiss. (I'd even settle for 2 more shared bank slots, if nothing else it would make switch stuff to alts' banks easier /sigh)

Tell me about it...took me nearly half an hour yesterday moving stuff from my main to a single alt...20 slots at a time. :\

                1) Make every item in the game stackable (except Lore items)
                2) Make all stackable items stack to 200
                3) FIFO! (First In, First Out) When a vendor runs out of space, make the OLDEST item poof!
                4) Add DoN master and grandmaster tradeskill drops to more mobs in more zones.
                5) Consider adding mid-level quests for high-level tradeskill items; e.g., "Give me three X Items and I'll give you this nice Y Item." Not everyone has a 70th level character to farm tradeskill items.

                  Grand Masters Tradeskill Aug

I always thought that there should be a really nice tradeskill Charm or aug. It seems like its the perfect item to encourage people to get their tradeskills as high as they can. Let's face it for many classes there is pretty much no incentive to raise other than a few tradeskills past the point where you can get Gimmel. And even there, its fairly easy in mid level raiding guilds to get better ears.

The last real good Tradeskill quest/item was from PoP. It's time for another to give people reason to continue tradeskilling.

Bank space - in the form of containers that will hold more (make them heavy or something that will make them bank containers only or once they are purchased they can only be used in the zone where they are purchased)
or make TS items stackable in 100's
                    or more bank slots
                    or all of the above

shared bank slots - add 1 or 2 PLEASE

Grandmaster's carryall- I would really like to see each Grandmaster's Seal get a carryall. It seems a shame that all of the work, time and pp that go into getting GM Seals can only result in one bag.

                      Grandmaster Carryall

I really like susiique's idea of the carry-all. After all the work put in to get the 'cookie', wouldn't it be nice to get access to an additional large capacity satchel or something? That way, it would add incentive to those of us who are still working our way up, and allow those who have completed the marathon (2100 club!) to reap a nice added benefit. Maybe a 16-20 slot container? It couldn't hurt. Also, I'd love to see some trade-skilled items we could make to spruce up the Guild Halls (can ya tell where that comes from). When I first started playing EQ, I loved the unique feel and excitement, but looking around at other platforms, one thing we now lag behind is the ability to customize our toons and the universe around us. I know that a full revamp to make houses available would be absurd, but surely this was thought of when SOE conceived of the guild hall. I have visions of tapestries on the walls, statues and fountains, and the occasional crossed weapons here and there... perhaps a dream, but then again eq isn't reality anyway.
Loose your commander, become a shield wall. Loose your unit, become an archer. Loose your king, become a hero.

Though in one aspect, I see plenty of tradeskills, I have had an idea growing for a longtime. Entertainment tradeskills, Class only, not race. Examples:

Necromancer or Shaman: Tattooing/bodyart. Player made icons are retrieved from a specific folder in the EQ directory and depending on the preselected body spots (face, arm, leg, etc), a specific recipe pertaining to that area is needed. The items for a face tattoo might include a needle(made from smithing), face template parchment("outline" of the tattoo, made from research) and a bottle of ink(made from brewing)

Paladin, Shadowknight, or Warrior: Heraldry. Able to put symbols on such things as shields and chestpieces. Examples such as a guild emblems, Class icons, etc.

Enchanters: Puppeteers. Can make puppet shows like marionettes

Rogues: jokesters. pies in the face, party tricks

These tradeskills would use previous tradeskills we all so dearly have spent countless hours on. Why not turn around and be able to get a little bit of fun back from them. Sitting in Pok buffing people and have a little downtime? Why not these to add to your services.

Personally I am very partial to the necro one. I tried looking at each class and tried to think of something that specific could relate to that class. If anymore examples are asked for, I can certainly elaborate on them.

Regarding the bank space issue, I have not only all my characters jammed with tradeskill items, but I have an account that is nothing but 8 mules. More bank space and more stackables to 100 are my biggest wishes.

If they cannot/will not increase bank space, how about asking for 1 or 2 more character slots, even if I have to choose only 1 server that gets them (like a /claim)? That way I don't have to delete one of my 8 kunark-era characters I've had so much fun with to make a new character, like a Vah Shir, or Beast Lord, or Berserker, or a Froglok Rogue (!) so I can start making poisons, too. That will yeild more bank space per account and will allow players to experience the fun of leveling up all over again.

Well, we know that server-side, each account can have more than eight characters on one server -- when the servers merged, people who had more than eight characters on the combined servers didn't lose their characters. Instead, only the first eight were visible on the client, and you had to delete some of the first eight to access characters number 9 and up. So in theory, a policy change to allow more than eight characters combined with a minor tweak to the client (allowing more than eight at the server select screen) should enable additional characters on one server.

                                Evolution of the Bazaar

I would very much like to see the ability to have a buyer and trader up at the same time on one account. How this is done is up to the developers. I do realize that it would not be easy, but I would realy like it.

On top of that (or as a solution), I would like to see the ability to vend my wares 24/7 via some mechanism, whether it be an npc trader or some magical device. An npc buyer would also be great. Hey, it could be a plat sink, though a not very painful one I hope. Here are some ways to do this:

                                - small % of sales/buys, say 5%. (npc vendor sells a 10k item and keeps 500pp, 9.5k goes to you)
                                - If a device/bulletin board type system, then a flat fee per listing perhaps.
                                - A time rental of the npc's would be ok if it was reasonable, like 10pp a norrathian day would be 200pp every 24 rl hours. That would sink 6k plat per month, and if one had both a buyer and a trader up, 12k plat per month per player.

Just ideas, basically paying someone to sell my wares for me. I think I prefer the % of sales though over-all.

I miss out on a bit of sales when I am playing and I can never be in buyer mode as I'd rather be selling. I'd like to see some things to help with these problems in the future of everquest tradeskilling.

I want to own a store and have employess =P But the next best thing is allowing other npc vendors to sell my wares for me. All in all, I would just like to see a more robust system.
