Thats good to know. Do you remember which phrase will get it back? I tried seveal figuring i'd get the lore dupe message if one worked but that never happened & I've been afraid to destroy the container.

Just hail him. You can safely destroy the container for the BiC quest, as well as the augment itself (I've tested the container, but not the aug). If you are missing either when you hail the gnome, he'll hand it back to you. You get the augment back at highest stage you reached.

I also want to add that I fully agree that No Trade containers should result in No Trade tokens. This is purely to help those out who have way too many containers to work with.
The problem that I have with this, is that we're trying to make the tokens something they are not. We want them to help with bank space, however, the tokens were never meant for that purpose. They are meant to allow us to be able to sell the bags on our traders.

I tried saying that earlier, but phrased it poorly. Bazaar tokens are for selling containers in the bazaar. They aren't meant for storing your NO TRADE quest containers.

There a list on the official site of quest issues similar to our trade skill issues list. I suggest you request that the list of quest issues include tokens for quest containers.
I tried combining Celestial Solvent, a Raw Rough Hide, Rough Hide Solution and a Skinning Knife. But the result was such an oxymoron, it opened a rift into another universe. I fell through into one of Nodyin's spreadsheets and was slain by a misplaced decimal.

I don't see it necessarily as a problem, simply as a re-interpretation of what a token means. Originally, tokens were to ease bag sales, this is true. However, there's no reason to keep them restricted to this one purpose.

If it makes it more palatable, consider making a new NPC in, say, the guild hall who will take your NO-TRADE containers and hand you a "Depository Receipt" in trade. Exact same game mechanic, just slightly different labels and context.

It's more than palatable, I'd love it, but it's not a tradeskill issue. It's a quest issue.

Since bag-tokens are already the result of a "quest", there's probably a better solution. Just eliminate the container or convert it to a pattern which is combined with the other components... in a standard tradeskill container.

For instance, there's a small parts container used in the PoK gate talisman quest. The NPC could give you a custom prototype instead of a box and ask you to combine it with the parts in toolkit. No more special container needed at all!

Another example is that ring from Bastion of Thunder. It drops from the wing bosses and if you get it before you have all four stones, you'll be suffering a bankspace shortage. There's no reason it has to be a container. It could have the same name but require you combine it in a forge to get the result.

Not tradeskill related, but I just this evening noticed that

                Ethereal Satchel of Gathering

                is not tokenizable.

We did expand our original plea to include all weight reducing containers. And tradeskill issues tend to include trader issues and that's definately an issue for setting up a trader. I'd put it on the list.
