My point of view is, since Zajeer has specifically mentioned "Visible Slots", it won't bother much against OoW augment market - because most of the OoW augments cannot be fit into visible slots.
The only exceptions at the momemt are:
    1/ Chest - Titanite (regen)
2/ Arm, Hands, Feet - Kyanite (hp)
3/ Head - Tourmaline (mana regen)
so out of the 12 flowstones (7 stats + 5 resists) and some of the named stone, only the above 3 will be affect (if there is) by this change.

Shouldn't be affected much at all... titanite, kyanite, and tourmaline are all better at what they do than the available type 9 buyable augs from DoN.

Thats ignoring the secondary effects those augs can have most of which do not exist at all on type 9 buyable augs.

Actually, most of the DoN augs cover the secondary effects of OoW Augs, with the exception of a couple melee ones... but every caster effect is either an aug or mark in itself.

As has been said, the majority of the augments can't be used for the new type 12 armor slots anyway. Nothing is stopping the OOW augments from continuing to go into the type 7 slots.

Frankly, I think this is a great thing. I resolves the problem of no type 12 augments currently available for legs.

Sounds good, i just hope they add some more Slot 9 augments then.
The reason i dropped getting DoN Tunic for my monk was because although the tunic was decent, even the best augment for it was horrible (40 hp/mana/end, 5 to all stats, 680 points, as in 122400pp based on current luclin crystal prices).
Ill rather pay 2.5X that and get an augment i can actually use for something.

I assume this means type 12 will be added to the augmentations that previously had type 9, as opposed to just tweaking the requirements for an augmentation to fit in a type 12 slot.

This is my understanding, but we'll have to wait until the next full patch (or at least, until it hits Test server) to see.

This is going to be in addition to reviewing the slots on the Omens Augmentations.

At a cursory glance, it looks like some of them may not have all the slots we intended them to have, so it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility that they have some more slots added to them in the future.

Obviously, we've got full plates with everything that's been going on -- this was a huge update, and I've also been working on the live event that you guys will get to see unfold over the next few weeks -- so I can't give a firm date on when they'll go in.
